What makes me different as a dog trainer/behaviourist? Aside from my qualifications and experience
I get it!
I live with 5 dogs, 3 relatively easy domestic dogs, and 2 rescues with complex behaviours and history.
I really do understand the different training and management needed for each individual dog, I live with it day in day out, I understand the frustrations, and the perceived judgement of others, I get it.
So when I work with pet parents I am working to understand their whole families needs and to support them so that they can give the right support to their dogs, their journey is unique to them.
There are no short cuts to training, no magic wands, or special equipment that will fix things. We must learn to understand the dog in front of us, and work with that dog, not the dog that we wish it was. We must nurture the bond, the trust, meet their basic needs and provide safe outlets for their behaviours, before we ask anything else of our dogs.
All dogs are amazing, but they aren’t all cut out to be the docile, super sociable, sofa surfing domestic pet that society expects them to be, I see the differences, I get it.

Dalmations by DNA are hard to have off lead so when I stopped and talked to the owner of 2 Dalmations that I see all the time walking his dogs on lead I told him about DogZone ! He came today and he will be back ! DogZone was created for dogs like these. Not as a money making exercise. My Vision

My dream has been to provide a safe and secure environment that gives you peace of mind so your dog has the freedom to have fun.

Many people are unable to let their dogs off their leads for fear that they may run off or be reactive/timid towards other dogs. Some people may have multiple dogs that they may want to exercise off their leads together in a safe place where you are not going to bump into other people or dogs. Some want to train their dogs without distractions. People may want to meet up with friends who have dogs and socialize them is a safe/secure area without fear of upsetting members of the public.

DogZone is 2 acres.The perimeter is 6ft deer fencing, with a rabbit proof base. There is a secure double gate entry/exit system. I have put two splits on the field so if a dog is not responding to recall you can reduce the size of the field. It is for you to enrich your dogs and I have placed equipment in the field to help you do this.
