Hi everyone we’ve been asked to see if anyone has a space in their home and hearts for a pair of Male guinea pigs. They are 3 and 2 and live together indoors. If anyone can offer them a home please contact me, thank you ❤️

Hi everyone, please note there has been a slight change to our March closure dates on the pinned post above.

We have been really busy changing quite a bit around and making larger enclosures for the animals, we are almost finished, just a few bits to be finished off.

We have some more lovely visitors in the run up to the Christmas and then we will be welcoming all of our holiday visitors.

If you have outside pets now is the time to make sure they are in a draft free space with plenty of bedding. Thermal covers also help to keep the warmth in.

We have limited availability for Christmas if you need us please enquire as soon as you can.

Hi everyone, we have had a lovely week with some fabulous animals to look after and enjoy.
We have had a new species to us, a red foot tortoise, for this little guy we bought a brand new set up to ensure he had everything he needed to enjoy his stay. He is a gorgeous little guy with a great personality.
We then got an enquiry regarding another red foot who when he came to visit is the biggest tortoise we will have ever had the pleasure of looking after, we are really looking forward to him coming to stay and enjoying getting to know his character.
It’s been lovely having some of our regular pets to visit this week and welcoming some new pets for the first time.

Hi everyone, well the weather has definitely changed, time now to think about providing a cosy draught free space for your outside animals.

All of our guests that are here for the half term are tucked up inside and out of the weather.

We are doing our best to keep up with the leaves falling down and that’s a full time job in itself 😂🍁🍂

We are looking forward to meeting a new tortoise species soon and getting to know the character of our guest.

This week we also have a new larger vivarium arriving to cater for the larger animals that need that kind of enclosure.

Whatever you’re doing for half term and Halloween, bonfire night have fun and stay safe.

Hi everyone,

If you have been following us for a while and haven't been sure if we are the right fit for you or your animals, we thought it would be beneficial to explain what we do and how we do it.
Some people will prefer to leave their pets at home and that's great we all know what's right for our individual animals. We like the animals to be here with us so we can keep a constant eye on them, learn their behaviours and what is normal for them.
Unfortunately small mammals are prey animals they hide illnesses very well to avoid looking vulnerable, by the time you notice it can sometimes be to late. If your animals are with us we very often have been able to see those slight changes in behaviour and been able to closely monitor and act if necessary.
So far in 4 years we have never charged extra for vet visits, nail cutting or grooming whilst your pet is with us, it's all part of their care and our ethic to put your pet first.
We supply everything your pet needs other than their usual dry food as it's best for them to stay on the food they are used to. We supply hay, bedding, enrichment, bowls, bottles and treats, for two guineas the usual price is no more than £10.50 per day. We have been told we should increase our prices for what we provide, we like animal care to be affordable and try to keep prices reasonable. We are always here to help as much as we can.

I hope this helps you to decide on which option is the best for you and your pet.

We are also very sorry that we currently cannot take any new rabbits.

Hi everyone hope you are all doing well.

We are getting booked up now for October and December 25, there are some spaces left please enquire if you need us.

Next year we are unfortunately going to need to reduce our spaces, this year with the very hot weather we had to move a lot of the animals to spaces within the house to avoid them getting to hot, this has lead to us making the decision to not use our outside hutches anymore.
This means we have 6 less spaces available than we did last year, we are doing this for the health and safety of the animals and our stress levels.

Last year we got two kittens from carlalaneanimalsinneed and a pup from rescuemeanimal

Sylvie (black cat) wasn’t sure about Florrie (pup) at first but now they sit like this. Sylvie actually shouts at Florrie to groom her, she’s not a people cat and that’s ok she leaves her brother to do that job, but she loves her dog sister. They are so lovely to watch 🐈🐈‍⬛🐩💕💙

Once you are in the lane, we are the first gate on the LEFT HAND SIDE. We have a big white sign on our gate. The gates will be closed but not locked (unless on a Wednesday). Please come in to reception.

Drop off times - 10-12 then 1-4pm everyday day EXCEPT WEDNESDAYS.

Hi everyone we’ve had another lovely week regardless of the wet weather. We have had three white bunnies this week, as well as their friends, some piggies and a couple of tortoises.

Autumn seems to be starting now and the nights are drawing in, the fire will soon be lit, we do like cosy evenings.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone again soon.

We have had quite a few bookings for summer next year already, and October half term and the Christmas breaks are filling up to.
