Hi everyone, our diary for 2025 is already looking busy for some of the school holidays of 2025, we are again looking forward to seeing some of our returning friends and making new ones over the course of the year.

Hi everyone, we’ve had a quiet few weeks after our holidays. Getting ready now for our lovely visitors that we will be welcoming over Christmas and New Year. We made a couple of changes and we have our own new arrivals, who have settled in brilliantly. We have our two rescue kittens that are already big cats and our rescue puppy that’s bringing new joy after losing Buddy.

Liz was busy at Church Town Christmas fair today with Janet, Celia, Angie, Leah, James, Marian, Kim and Bev helping to raise funds and awareness for the work we do at the centre.

Whilst they are out we are back at the centre looking after all our animals all requiring individual care and support.

This is the first of sixteen events organised by Liz and her team of volunteers for Christmas and she could do with some help. If you can give two four hour spells to help her this December please comment below 🙏

🐾 URGENT APPEAL 🐾

As we're feeling the effects of a busy kitten season, we're finding that our supply of crates is quickly diminishing and/or becoming unfit for purpose (due to wear and tear). These crates are useful for us, as we are finding that more and more kittens are coming to our care in a nervous and shy state. These crates provide them with the safety and security that they need whilst they build up their confidence.

We need your help! Do you have a large or extra-large dog crate that you no longer need? We only need these sizes and we'd appreciate any donations that are received. Our only requirement is that the crates are rust-free and in good condition.

If you do, please send us a message with clear photos of the crates as some are more suitable than others!

❌Yesterday alone we turned away just over 50 cats and kittens...there was 8 sets of mums with newborns and several litters of kittens that we just do not have room for unless we recruit more foster carers❌

Hi everyone, at this moment I just want to make everyone aware of this new strain of RVHD, we have no instructions on how to deal with this from a boarding perspective at present. Please be aware that this is out there. As usual we will ensure the best hygiene levels, unfortunately though due to how this can be transmitted via air, insects and transmission from an infected rabbit, or on your person, we cannot completely guarantee the safety of rabbits at this time.
Anyone who currently has rabbits booked in who would rather they no longer board, please contact me directly.
This is a developing situation, I will keep everyone updated as new information arises.

In light of recent comments online, it is clear that some of you have lost rabbits to RVHD2, some of which may be from the new, highly virulent strain. As this means that the current vaccine has not offered protection, reporting it will assist the regulatory authorities in allowing in vaccines that....
