Hi everyone, we have had a lovely week with our visitors and are now getting ready for the Easter holidays and welcoming all our visitors for their holidays.

With the good forecast for next week we will be getting everything shipshape outside ready for our visitors that live outside.

Please remember we are closed the 27th of April until the 1st of May 2025.

This week we have had quite a few bookings for the summer holidays and some of the August weeks now have limited availability, please contact us as soon as you know your holiday dates if you need your pets to come to us for their holiday.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for an off cut of Lino approx 4ft x 2ft minimum.
Does anyone have any suggestions I’ve looked on marketplace and can’t see anything local for such a small piece and most carpet shops don’t have off cuts any more.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated, thank you x

Hi everyone we were due to be closed these next few days but unfortunately our plans have had to be cancelled, I did have a few enquiries for over this time if anyone is still looking for boarding.

I would also like to say a big thank you to all our lovely customers who bring us gifts and momento’s after their pet has boarded, we love getting thoughtful cards and small gifts of appreciation, these are not necessary but very much appreciated, thank you 💕

Hi everyone, what a lovely few days we have had.
We been busy with visitors this week, owners have been coming to visit us and check that our spaces are suitable for their pets, all have booked in their animals for their holidays. It is lovely when people say we have a brilliant set up even though if we had more space I would like it to be even better.
We have had a lot of enquiries for indoor bunnies lately, unfortunately we do not have large enclosures for indoor rabbits, our biggest spaces for rabbits are in our non heated room and outside, findpetboarding.com is a good site to look for alternative accommodation for indoor bunnies.

It’s a new month which means it’s the perfect time for us to give you an update on the RVHD2 vaccination 💉🐰

Here’s what you need to know:

All rabbits should now have TWO vaccinations per year:

Vaccine 1: The ‘Triple’ vaccine covering RVHD1, RVHD2 & Myxomatosis (available for years).

Vaccine 2: A new vaccine covering RVHD1 & RVHD2, including the highly virulent strain (available in the UK since Jan 2025).

These can be given 2 weeks apart, but we advise 6-monthly intervals for added protection and regular vet checks.

Please be aware that some vets may not yet be aware of the new vaccine or the increasing risk of RVHD2. If you’re told an additional vaccine isn’t needed, we encourage you to ask again. We’re working hard to ensure all vets have the right info!

RVHD2 risk is rising, and Myxomatosis increases with warmer weather. Please speak to your vet about stocking both vaccines and book your rabbits in ASAP!

Hi everyone, we’ve had another lovely week, it’s been half term for quite a few of our visitors. We’ve had guineas, tortoises, bearded dragons and bunnies to spend time with. We’ve love how they all have their own special characters and it makes everyday special and unique. It’s been lovely to have some slightly better weather, and to eventually be able to get outside and get some jobs done.

Hi everyone,

We’ve had some lovely visitors this week, they have all been adorable and loved having cuddles and time out to play.
Willow Grove has another new resident the gorgeous sooty a Syrian hamster that just happened to look at me in the right way for me to change my mind on the no more hamsters rule
🐹🥰.
We are now up to 20 Willow Grove permanent residents which we adore and they love seeing all the visitors coming and going just as much as we do. 🐢🐹🐰🦎🦔

Hi everyone, well it’s definitely been cold and windy. All of our visitors have been cosy inside our heated and non heated rooms, getting lots of fresh hay and vegetables to eat.
If possible at this time of year if you have outside animals find a sheltered corner away from the wind and rain so they stay as dry and warm as possible, use extra hay for bedding to.
We are getting ready for the February half term and saying hello to some of our existing visitors and also some new visitors, we are definitely looking forward to the cuddles.

Hi everyone, our diary for 2025 is already looking busy for some of the school holidays of 2025, we are again looking forward to seeing some of our returning friends and making new ones over the course of the year.

Hi everyone, we’ve had a quiet few weeks after our holidays. Getting ready now for our lovely visitors that we will be welcoming over Christmas and New Year. We made a couple of changes and we have our own new arrivals, who have settled in brilliantly. We have our two rescue kittens that are already big cats and our rescue puppy that’s bringing new joy after losing Buddy.
