The Speech House doesn’t have great signal, so it’s recommended to bring cash for the stalls, BUT we’ve invested in a WiFi box and tested it in the forest yesterday.
It’s also FREE ENTRY!

We’ve had lots of new people join the group recently and even more that we have yet to meet! I wanted to give a little info on who we are!
I’m Jess, owner of Satch’s Snacks along with my two fluffy CEO’s (Chief Eating Officers) Satchwell and Willow.
Pre Covid, I’d spent over a decade in Travel & Tourism, working all around the world, including spending 3 years at sea working on Cruise Ships. 🛳️
I’ve always thought my career would remain in travel, but after Covid stopped my career, Tom and I decided to buy a home in the Forest of Dean.
Starting from scratch is never easy, but I’d always dreamed of owning my own business. With a love of canine health and wellbeing, I started Satch’s Snacks with a view of encouraging friends and family to move to natural treats and increase daily enrichment to their dogs routine. But wow 🤩 I can’t believe where we are now!
Over the last two years our business has grown significantly and we now ship to customers all over the UK, have almost 60 Brand Ambassadogs, a dedicated packing unit with a ‘Click & Collect’ service and attend events all across Gloucestershire.
We don’t have a retail store, (and we don’t want one) but you can find all our events on our website homepage www.satchssnacks.co.uk

Chewing also releases endorphins which can help calm and sooth your dog as well as provide a much needed release of tension build up. Looking for an activity to do during some warmer weather? ☀️
This is a DIY doggy ice cream kit. It comes dry (as a powder) and all you need to do is add water and freeze.
You don’t need to eat in one go and can put in moulds/hooves etc.
And it’s dairy and gluten free!
We currently have Blackberry and Strawberry in stock.

Rudy just couldn’t resist getting himself stocked up on snacks! Did you know our treats have a really long shelf life? Which means that you can stock up easily on our bulk buys!
As all the treats are air dried, they lock in their nutrients and flavour but also add length to their best before date. Treats will be delivered with a minimum 3 month use by date but usually have around 6 months. Store in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. And ideally in an air tight container for maximum freshness!

Long lasting enrichment ideas 💡
Hooves
Yes I know out of all the treats we have, this is the one can pong a tad👃BUT it is a great natural treat to use for slowing feeding (Plus it’s getting warmer for those outside snacks now too!)
Simply fill with your dogs dinner (or some pate, raw food, rehydrated kibble and peanut butter) and freeze (you don’t need to freeze to get a longer lasting chew).
🤩Benefits? 🤩
🐶 Slowing feeding helps aid digestion
🐶 Slowing feeding helps reduce boredom
👅 Licking reduces anxiety
🧠 Different textures work their brain to get the food
😴 Better sleep
⏰ 15 minutes of licking = 1hr of walking (in terms of mental enrichment).
Turn a 2 minute meal time into half an hour of fun.
Satch eventually eats about 90% of the hoof and then I discard and switch out for a new one.
