Each day we see the faces of countless cats in need of love, shelter, and vet care. It breaks our hearts to think that we may not be able to give them the care they deserve going forward as we are struggling. We are in the worst financial position we have ever faced, our team are physically and emotionally exhausted but we do our best to carry on because the cats need us. Financially we simply cant carry on this way. We are scared for our future but if we stop who is going to help these cat who so desperately need us? Who Is gonna feed the hundred stray and feral cats we provide food for daily?
We can't stop they need us but without money for food and vet care we can't carry on. This is really desperate now we need your support.

As a small, independent rescue, we rely on the generosity and compassion of our community. Without your support, we simply cannot continue to save, nourish and rehabilitate these precious souls. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a significant difference in the lives of these cats.

We understand that times are tough for many, but we urge you to consider the impact your contribution could have on the lives of these animals. Whether it's 10p or £1 it helps.

Please, if you can, donate whatever you can spare to help us keep our doors open and continue our lifesaving work. Your kindness and generosity will not go unnoticed, the cats whose lives you touch will be forever grateful.

Trying to find a home for one of my customers for two girl cats, both are around 10 years old, 1 is anxious and will take time to adapt to changes. The other is happy to be fed and loved. This is very distressing due to unforeseen circumstances that the cats owner is having to do this. To find them both a loving home would most certainly ease the upset 😻😻

🆘SPECIAL APPEAL FOR OSCAR🆘

Today I spent some time with this very sad 9 year old cat, who has been completely let down by the human species. He came to us several months ago, unneutered but chipped, after straying for about 6 months. We immediately contacted the details on the chip, and as they had since had a baby, they decided that they didn’t want him back. We were gobsmacked, as you will not find a more gentle natured cat than Oscar. 💙

What struck me was firstly what a lovely, gentle cat he is and secondly how very sad and fed up he is in his pod at our Centre. He took a couple of minutes to lift his head, look at me and respond to my gentle head rubs.

Whilst as volunteers we go above and beyond for our residents, we are no comparison for a loving home and a comfy sofa to lounge on.

Oscar is starting to shut down, he is quite simply depressed and despite several appeals for a foster home for this gentle boy, AS AN ONLY PET, we are not receiving any suitable offers for him. Yes, he needs a renal diet, but we are prepared to supply this for any potential fosterer along with any subsequent veterinary care. Yes, he needs to be able to have safe, outdoor access…Oscar has missed a whole summer of sunbathing in a garden, which he really enjoys.

If you can offer this lovely boy a quiet, loving home where he can enjoy some home comforts, please get in touch with us. As usual, we cannot rehome near to busy/main roads or to families with children under 5.

Greg & George
Greg is a very shy black kitten, and his brother George is a very friendly tabby. They were living with their feral mum on a farm, and being fed by a lady there, until she asked us to help catch them. We'd like to keep them as a pair, in the hope that George's confident nature encourages his brother to be more social. My name is Titch. I am 5+ years old and arrived on 8.6.21 I am a beautiful ginger and white boy. I am a nice boy but can be nippy. I love biscuits! So that's a good way to win me over. The photo lady caught me inside today because my catflap is shut while the building work is going on, so I gave her my best serious face, because it's a very serious business trying to find a home these days, especially if you are not a kitten. I hope I've shown you my good side! Here is what it says about me on the catchat page...Titch was a stray who invited himself into a gentleman's house, but unfortunately a few years later he needed to move into sheltered accommodation, and couldn't take pets along. Titch is a friendly boy, though he can be nippy if he's stroked in the wrong place. He arrived with some matted fur on his back, which needed to be shaved off, and his new owner will need to help him keep this well-groomed and comfortable in future....

I arrived on 27.4.21 I am a beautiful looking 6 1/2 year old girl, but can be a diva! The photo lady said I was great at posing for the camera!...
Zuzu and her sister Rogue came to us after the birth of a baby in their previous home. It was soon clear that they didn't get along with each other, so we chose to home them separately, and Rogue has now been adopted but Zuzu is still waiting.

She needs a strictly pet-free and child-free home, with an experienced cat owner who feels confident dealing with more difficult cases. Once she builds trust with somebody, she will meow for attention, rub around your legs and sit on your knee, so they do show appreciation for humans that will be patient with them. However she is unpredictable, and can scratch and bite. She hates being put into carriers, and wants attention on her own terms. She has lots of personality and was much loved by her previous owner, but it's important we explain her bad points as well as her good ones! She is used to being an indoor cat, but would enjoy access to a secure garden in good weather.

**WE NEED YOUR HELP**

Three year old Thomas has only been with us for 5 days and he is struggling. This lovely boy has a nice temperament but he is not coping at all in our cattery environment.

He is withdrawing and shutting down, and we need a specific foster person who will take care of him and help him cope with the changes he is having to deal with in his life.

If you can offer this timid cat a quiet home and give him time, patience and a warm sofa, we are sure he will start to come out of his shell. We are ideally looking for cat savvy person with no other pets to help this young cat regain his confidence.
