Attention to detail is key in good quality repairs such as heat sealing the ends of all webbing we use to prevent fraying, even if it is hidden within a seam or under binding! We are horse people so know all too well what the rugs go through and how tough they need to be!

Calling Riding Schools with in 10 mile radius of Holsworthy!
Riding schools are having a really rubbish time during lockdown and need a bit of support so we are offering a free wash and re-proof of 2 turnout rugs or free wash for up to 15 saddle cloths during lockdown for your riding school horses. Get in touch before the end of lockdown on 2nd December.

Does anyone have any spare rugs they do not want? I will put together a load to send up there, even if they are dirty drop them here and we will wash them and send them on up to TRC.

Please help! On Wednesday evening BTRC was broken into and a large amount of tack, rugs, boots, travelling equipment, yard equipment includng our power hose as well as ALL our demonstration tack and equipment was stolen. Some of these items are branded with our logo which is very distinctive but most of the items were donated by our supporters. The police are involved and the CSI have been on site gathering evidence - fingerprints👍. If you are offered any suspicous items or have any information please contact the Lancaster Police or the Centre. More importantly as we are a charity this will hit us hard especailly at this difficult time, so if you have any rugs or tack that you no longer need that may help our horses please contact the Centre (01524812649 or [email protected]) as any donations would be very greatly appreciated. 🐎💗

We are continuing to wash rugs here so whilst we are all on box rest if you want your rugs washed just let us know. Rugs can be dropped off at our collection points or we can collect from your yard as long as we are pointed in the right direction of the rugs from a distance!
We take biosecurity seriously in our day to day handling of rugs and disinfecting so it’s pretty much business as usual.

The horse’s are starting to get their summer coats and spring is finally around the corner so time to give those rugs a well earned wash. After the long wet winter how about a boost to the start of the competition season with a nice new saddle cloth?

Our rugs are re-water proofed in the washing machine but after repairs are done the repaired area gets an an extra spray to seal the stitching.
