Red Tractor Vs AGW

A Green World Animal Welfare Approved (AGW) and Red Tractor Assured are two different animal welfare standards that are used in the UK.

AGW Animal Welfare Approved certification is a global certification that is based on high animal welfare standards. The certification requires farms and businesses to follow strict animal welfare guidelines, which are independently verified by third-party auditors annually. This certification is based on a whole-farm approach, meaning that the welfare of all animals on the farm is taken into account, as well as the impact of farming on the environment.
