Due to unforeseen circumstances I have had to close my dog training and walking business.

I wish to thank family, friends and clients of Happy Wagtails for their support.

I've had such fun with all the dogs and their owners whether walking, in classes or 1-2-1 sessions.

I now get to spend more time with my own 2 fur babies.

It is the FINAL day of Puppy Week. What an immersive, exciting time we’ve had. 10 fabulous puppy-focused days where every day you were excited about puppy fun. It’s the best way to wake up in the morning, isn’t it? Don’t let not having a puppy hold you back from sharing these free resources with your amazing students and clients!
Puppies have overtaken social media.

When your students and clients have a puppy, their puppy is eventually NOT a puppy. It happens so fast. One day they have a shark, the next day they have this cuddly, devastatingly loyal companion that will do anything for them… Their puppy started that way, it just wasn’t as easy for them to see through the puppy struggles.
As they mature, a whole new set of struggles may present themselves, and yet now, with these free resources, our hope is that they’re just a little more prepared.

Day 8 - Barking Solutions

We’re bringing in March with style, PUPPY style! Did you wake up this morning wondering what the next resource was going to be? Did you think: What else could it be? They’ve already given so MUCH already!

Well, we couldn’t let this one NOT be part of Puppy Week. You have received access to downloads to share with your students on so many puppy topics… Biting… House-Training… Socialisation… Achieving ultimate levels of Calmness… what more could there be?

Well… there’s Barking! Okay, so barking is a normal behaviour, right? Yes… but there is barking that just isn’t okay.

Day 7 - Calmness is King

The subject gives it away, doesn’t it? Well, that’s okay, we hope that the subjects of the emails get you as excited as they get us! Oh wait, calm… calm, that’s right…

So, are you calm? Do you practice calm on a daily basis?
Actually, here’s a question… Do you make better decisions when you’re calm vs. when you’re really excited or frustrated?

It’s not a trick question… but your answer might give you insight on why your puppy or your students puppies decisions aren’t so great when they’re not calm. No matter your dog’s age, calmness is vital.

After a week of puppy fun, we’re not quite done yet! Today was supposed to be the final day and the last resource of Puppy Week. Yet, yesterday, we decided NOPE! We’re going to keep going. Welcome to Day 7 of a Puppy Week unlike any other week… because it’s not a week… It’s 10 days!

We’ve put together a list of 10 games that are sure to inspire and unlock amazing results for your students and clients puppy’s. One of the really cool aspects of training a new puppy is that their owners get to learn almost as much as they do as they learn together and grow together.

Foundation games aren’t just restricted to puppy’s. It doesn’t hurt to revisit them with adult dogs too, you can share these 10 games, in fact, you can share ALL of these resources with your students and clients who own adult dogs! They’re never done learning!!

Sometimes, you’ve just got to be a little creative… and reshaping your puppy’s brain so that they make the right choices can sound like a lot of work, but trust us, with 3-minute games that will change your puppy’s behaviour for the better, the work isn’t exactly hard, but it sure is fun.
