A desperate plea for help. I can’t save anymore. Yesterday I know there were many being killed. I saw their faces, I prayed someone else would find a way. Some rescuers managed to save some but not many. It hurts so much to know you can’t save them. If we build more shelters we can get some more out. If we raise £5k we can build 10 more shelters. Please donate, I hate asking but that’s it, no more space. I’m heartbroken 😢

These are some of the dogs we are trying to get saved by next Friday. There are 9 in total but we don’t think we will be able to save them all. Any help would be massively appreciated. They will hopefully go where Baloo and Barney are ❤️. As always I will keep updating you. If anyone can think of any ways to raise money with us/for us please message me. Jan and me have been on the phone all day trying to find a way so we are really desperate for some help. ❤️ We worked out all the costs and to save them, have all checks, chips, travel, vaccines, keep them sponsored etc works out of £3200 that’s without any vets bills. A little Alfie update, he’s doing very well, his hair is growing so much, the tail wagging is getting more and more and he’s happily going outside the back garden to do his whoopsies! He still won’t go for a walk and his skin although improving is still bad so I’ve just ordered some probiotic and hypoallergenic food. His feet are still sore as he obsessively licks them. We had to put socks on him last week to stop. He still hasn’t ventured to the vets as yet, although it’s imminent as his two sausage sisters need to go as they sadly have both formed lumps. So may take all of them together with Jess’s help!! He’s eating well and has taken to “his” spot on the sofa which Honey the brown sausage seems to have adopted with him too. So progress continues slowly, all in all he’s a much more settle boy and his flinching everytime we moves seems to have subsided so he must be trusting us and he’s beginning to love cuddles 🥰❤️

There’s a huge difference when a big dog has a drink to when a small one has one, I have to keep drying the floor! Thank goodness for wooden floors! 😂🥰
Alfie seems to come awake at night, and gets interested in the cats! Mabel actually quite likes him 🥰 and I think he quite likes her ❤️

Alfie loves to be petted, it sends him off to sleep. We are definitely making progress. Sadly while petting him this morning I found a big hole in his ear. Apparently in Romania they tag dogs with cattle tags and the healing and injury to thier ear is pretty awful. Good to see it has healed so well now but another bit of evidence to show his previous life of pain and upset 😢
