Happy National Puppy Day! These are my three as puppies. There’s Leven the spaniel who’s now three, Luna the Labrador who’s now 8 and Ruby the spaniel who’s sadly no longer with us.

Great week 1 of the new puppy course today at Hoof and Woof. The pups (and their owners) all did so well!

This week we focused on the recall cue and what it means to our dogs. We then put the cues in to practice in the lovely big open space.

*𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲*

I’m really pleased to announce I’ll be starting a new Basic Training Course on Saturday 22nd March, 2:30-3:15pm at Hoof and Woof in Frimley Green.

This course is suitable for puppies that have completed one of our basic puppy courses or for dogs over the age of 6 months that have either been to one of our classes before or would like to start on some basic training.

The course runs for 5 weeks and we cover things like:

🐾 Improving recall
🐾 Walking on a loose lead
🐾 Basic scent work exercises
🐾 Door/Gate manners
🐾 Focus around distractions

For those that have been to one of our Basic Levels courses before we will work on the next level in the programme.

Have you just introduced a new puppy to your home or are planning a new addition to your family in the next few months?

Get your puppy off to the best start with our fun, interactive, reward-based classes with a fully qualified IMDT trainer.

Our classes are held in a large, safe, outdoor, realistic environment and the whole family are welcome to attend.

Classes run for 5 weeks and are suitable for puppies aged under 6 months. Spaces are £85 per puppy.

Over the course of the 5 weeks we cover the basics of puppy training such as:

⭐️ Recall
⭐️ Walking on a loose lead
⭐️ Stay/wait
⭐️ How to deal with common puppy issues such as toilet training, play biting, jumping up.
⭐️ Puppy socialisation

Also included in the course is a free week-by-week guide to puppy socialisation and a free treat pack.

We have new classes starting on the following dates at Hoof and Woof in Frimley Green:
