Just back from a weekend away at the dog-friendly Kiltarlity Lodges in the Highlands for my birthday. Nice little touches like complimentary dog biscuits, spare towels for muddy paws and lots of info on walks and dog-friendly places to eat in the area.

Our very own VIP enjoyed the woodland walks and my legs enjoyed some much needed R&R in the hot tub before it's back to walkies tomorrow!

With Bonfire Night just a day away, fireworks will be ramping up. Here are some good tips for keeping your pets safe during and after the displays.

We're lucky our four-legged family member isn't too fussed by the bangs (the vacuum cleaner is a whole other story) but we'll still be planning ahead to make sure we're prepared with cosy spaces, enrichment games and, of course, getting our walks in early.
