So sorry for the silence - we got MARRIED!

The Toy Story Litter - A reflection.

Dear Luna, Yennefer and Xena,

Your mama’s first litter was a funny story. Honey came home 2 weeks before her due date. Your mama was a slim girl and she didn’t have a belly until one day… she did 😂 When Honey went into labour I sat with her on the floor, rubbing her stomach, helping her contractions along. She wanted to birth right in the middle of the living room. 😅 Luna, also known as Babyface, was first out. A breech baby. Born in our cat tree. RIP cat tree.
Within 10 minutes of the first, Xena, also known as Molly, flew out! Honey tended to both as she rested. We believed she was done.
3 hours later, we checked on Honey and we found that Yennefer, also known as Hannah, was coming out to join everyone ❤️

You girls have made me laugh. You are just like your mama- beautiful girls who purr and purr and purr.
Amazing cats which show great examples of the breed.

Dear Followers,
I know I haven’t been incredibly active on social media and I am sorry about that. Things have been quite hectic and I am rather burnt out. I am so thankful for the help when I needed it, sharing posts, tagging your friends, engagement on getting the girls new homes.
So thankyou.

Dear Owners,
Thankyou for choosing Thirteenth Moon Felines. I am here for you on this journey as long as you want me to be - as far as I am concerned - you are family now. Thankyou for allowing me to play such a big role in your furbabies life. I hope you have happy and healthy long lives together and make each others bad days a little brighter.
I'm sure you are aware of this already, but the furbaby you brought home, is more than 'just a cat' and I want you to know that they were raised with, yes, health and temprement and type in mind. But mostly it was love. I dedicated my heart and soul to these kitties and I hope you will continue to do the same.

⁣Molly has had quite the week! 🥹

Earlier, we had to rush her into surgery after what the vets initially thought was congestion turned out to be a large polyp blocking her airway. The polyp was successfully removed, but just 24 hours later, we were back at the vet when she began coughing and sneezing blood. Not long after that, we had to rush her in again, only to find out she had developed stress-induced cystitis.

With all of this going on, I couldn’t let her go to her new home, and after discussing it with the new owner, they made the tough decision to step back. As responsible breeders, we always prioritise the health of our kittens, so we decided to keep her here with us for now.

That said, I’ve fallen completely in love with her, and she now has a name… and you all know what happens when a kitten gets a name, right? Haha. So, meet ThirteenthMoon Molly, now called Xena – our little warrior princess. She’s recovering beautifully, and I’m so proud of how brave she’s been! We’re absolutely smitten with her.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

⁣Yennefer, once Hannah, has found her future family. Neutered and rocking her little surgery suit, she's prepared for a wonderful new beginning! 🐾⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

I get frequently asked how Wispa is and my response is LARGE 🤣

Wispa is now a proud loaf and she loafs hard on any and every flat surface just like a retired queen should! 🤣

Wispa weighs in at a whopping 7.5kg and its her birthday in just a few days!

She is a big teddy bear and she is so funny. When she does zoomies it is TERRIFYING. (Imagine having 7.5kg of claws running towards your head 🤣)

Thankyou again to all who follow her journey and especially the amazing Pulchra Feles - Home of Beautiful Cats and Lvlovebugs who she started her life with!

So I breed Maine C***s. I'm registered with a governing board and so are my cats. All cats are health tested and bred to preserve the breed standard, hence why I rarely have litters.
We are based in the North of England. UK. Our cats will never be shipped internationally.
