To Izzy,

Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey in saying goodbye to Rosie and for your lovely message. 🌈

“We cannot thank Dr Emma and Roundwood enough for their care and compassion. Rosie Rebecca was our first ever dog and we were overwhelmed by the pain of having to let her go despite her age and stage of life at 15 years old.

Having made the decision, we had a very peaceful and special day with Rosie at home and then Emma walked in late afternoon and her kindness and gentle care carried us through..

I have just returned tonight from work (a week on) and opened this card. This compassion is really exceptional and has left us with such warmth around the dignity afforded by Emma to our wonderful Rosie.”

To Gladis,

Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey in saying goodbye to Toby and for your lovely message. 🌈

“We had to say goodbye to our lovely boy, Toby, after 18.5 years.

Dr Emma was most caring, calm and wonderful vet. She arrived on time and explained everything calmly. She gave us enough time to say our goodbyes and ensured Toby passed away peacefully at home.

Thank you to Emma and the Roundwood Pet Hospice team.”

To Kim,

Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey in saying goodbye to Finn and for your lovely message. 🌈

"Finn was completely food crazy, he ate anything, including things that were very bad for him, socks, underwear, chocolate and once a very large expensive Christmas pudding. His tail was a weapon, which wagged all the time. He was beautiful and he knew it, everyone stopped to talk to him which he adored. He loved me and I loved him, we spent fourteen unforgettable years together, through happy and sad times but always a team. I will miss him forever."

To Vicki,

Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey in saying goodbye to Norman and for your lovely message. 🌈

“Our gorgeous cat Norman, was just over 12 years old when he sadly was diagnosed with a severe heart condition back in March. We kept him as happy and comfortable as possible until the time came at the end of August when things seemed to be getting harder for him to manage.

He didn’t enjoy the car journey at all to the vets and with being such a strong boy it was quite a stressful trip for us also! Being able to keep him at home and peaceful really meant the world

to us and most importantly for Norman to not be under any stress at all. Dr Emma was just amazing and Norman instantly warmed to her too. He had such a big personality, loved fitting into spaces he was most definitely too big for and loved being nosey in the shopping bags! We will miss him dearly but so grateful to have so many lovely memories of him.”

To Emilia,

Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey in saying goodbye to Coco and for your lovely message. 🌈

"Coco was my baby, my life.

She was independent spending the days in the garden, and the river side behind the house. She hunted, climbed and made herself known to the neighbours. Every evening would be me watching TV with Coco snuggled on my chest.

Bedtimes were cosy, she'd start off on my chest whilst I read, then would sleep on my back when I slept. Cuddles and affection were on her terms, but that was okay because we had the best cuddles.

My life revolved around Coco, and i was okay with that. At only age 11, she suddenly became ill, a devastating diagnosis was given, and just a couple of months later I lost her. I can't bare the thought that she's gone, I had this whole scene set out that we would grow older together I never expected to lose her that young.

She's on my mind day and night, I miss her, she was a beautiful girl, very spirited and full of life. She was my life and I miss her."
