To Theresa,

Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey in saying goodbye to Florence and for your lovely message. 🌈

“Florence was a beautiful, gentle, playful, full of fun cat. She was a stray, but how lucky were we that she chose to live with us. She had a wonderful life living on a farm. She brought us lots of gifts. She slept with me on the bed every night.

She is terribly missed but we take great comfort knowing she had a wonderful life and gave us beautiful memories to keep and treasure.

Lots of special thankyous to Dr Emma and Charlotte at Roundwood Pet Hospice for all their kindness and for giving Kitty a truly beautiful ending to her amazing life.”

To Paul,

Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey in saying goodbye to Keiko and for your lovely message. 🌈

“Keiko was rescued by myself at the age of 2, in reality this young fur baby rescued me.

We lived the majority of are time together at RAF Honington. Being a true husky she kept me busy - from climbing out the window chasing rabbits across the airfield to singing the place down as soon as I left for work.

As the years passed our time in the RAF came to an end we moved back to Liverpool and settled into civilian life.

The same cheeky husky, but noticeably getting older and slowing down. Your end came so fast, I am sorry I could have done more.

Keiko, my love, my heart is broken you will forever be loved.”

To Belinda & Eddie,

Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey in saying goodbye to Freddie and for your lovely message. 🌈

“At the end of August we said a heartbreaking goodbye to our dear 15 year old Freddie - to say that he was the light of our lives was an understatement. He was not only part of our family - he made our family. We treasure every memory we made with him and we are so grateful to have had 15 very special years with him- years filled with so much love, fun, friendships, smiles and laughs all because of our quirky gorgeous boy.

He looked after our family for 15 years - especially during the last 12 months which has been challenging for our family. When his work of looking after us was done he gently passed over with the help, care, kindness and respect that Dr Emma showered on him and us.

This festive season will be a difficult one for our family and for many others who have lost a beloved family member .We remember Freddie with warmth in our hearts and wet tears down our cheeks.

At the moment it still feels like Freddie is everywhere - but nowhere - we see him lounging in his favourite spots, perching on rocks to have his photo taken …. but he isn’t there - so we hold onto our treasured memories of him.

We can’t thank the team at Roundwood enough for the compassionate and dignified manner in which every aspect of Freddie’s passing was managed - we are forever indebted to them.

We will miss you forever our sweet boy”
