Enjoying the odd trip to the lake, secure field and forest area and afterwards chilling in the garden. A chance to meet up with some new friends too.

Lots of work to do on recall but tasty treats are helping with that 👌

Three weeks since joining his Forever Home and Noel is fitting in really well 😀 Lots of fun & games with Obi (his new bother), mostly ‘bitey-face’ (which Noel seems to instigate) and resulting in rolling tumbles. His new sister (Snowy) just lets them get on with it!

Noel started the exciting new chapter of his Forever Home journey yesterday. A very big thankyou to Karen and family for providing a fantastic foster home experience. Having been introduced to his new dog family the weekend before, we knew they would get along and so far so good. We know how hard saying goodbye was yesterday Karen but hopefully it’s comfort to know he has settled really well thanks to your care and kindness while in foster. After a good sleep last night (with his new humans sharing the settee), he started the day exploring his new garden and playing with his new dog pals before breakfast. A trip for all three to the secure field for a big runaround and back for an afternoon snooze followed by tea and a bone. He is becoming increasingly confident and trusting and adapting really well. Having lost our much loved 14year old GSP Otto several months ago, Noel provides the much missed playmate for Snowy (Snowball) and Obi (was Ben) - both Apollo’s Angels. My heart is bursting with pride at how well this special boy has taken today in his stride and is relaxing and settling in with his new fabulous and special family 💗

Here he is enjoying a tasty bone 🦴 after his dinner this evening and now settled down having found a comfy place to doze 💙
