Our queen Ionian Xtacy aka Kai
(Jason of Shermandell x Monnington Veriation)

Now a retired 25 year old matriarch looking after her herd but in her hay day she was a madam.

Not the easiest of horses, but the good ones aren’t supposed to be.
Many a times her halo has fallen, but there have been far more moments where she has stolen ours and everyone’s else’s hearts.
She has turned her hoof to most things and has shown just how versatile the Morgan horse really is.

She is such a people person and is the most kindest mare.. the kind of temperament where you would have no issues leaving a child with her and know that the child would be well looked after when you returned.

The beautiful PJB Lucille aka Lucy

We have had the privilege of owning Lucy for nearly 2 years, and my what a sweet little angel she is.

She has been out with the herd to grow and develop, and wow has she blossomed into a beautiful swan.
She loves herd life, but also loves cuddles and kisses from us at any opportunity that she gets.

She has the typical sweet and loving nature of a Morgan horse and is always one of the first to come and see you.

She is expecting her first foal in 2025 (sire: BZH Heol Valonia) and we are excited to see what this cross produces.
If nothing else it will have the personality, temperament and charm to die for considering both of its parents natures ❤️

The beautiful Gucci (Blustone Miss Magic, owned by Maureen Webb) and her gorgeous little foal Xantia (sire: Mossrose Triumphant, owned by Rosita Hamar) who is 8 weeks old today.
Xantia will officially be known as CMUK Southern Sunrise, (papers pending).

Such beautiful ladies with the typical natures and temperaments of the Morgan breed.
Xantia has already surpassed the height of our previously home bred foal in 2021 so we think she’s going to be a good size and a unit 🥰

We are incredibly honoured and lucky to have Gucci staying on for another breeding year with us at CMUK Morgans.
We are so grateful to Maureen for this opportunity ❤️

What an awesome second day at Kent County Show.
Our wonderful young stallion BZH Heol Valonia returned to take part in the Price Family Semi Final qualifier representing the Foreign Breeds.

So many lovely comments from the judges who stated that he was a fine stamp of a Morgan and how great it was to see them being represented.

He absolutely shone and rose to the occasion and took RESERVE CHAMPION

So in love with this boy and couldn’t be more proud.
Really looking forward to seeing his first foal next year 🥰

Fabulous day at Kent County Show

BZH Heol Valonia took 1st in Foreign breed youngstock and then took Foreign Breed Champion against some beautiful mature horses.

So proud of him and we’re back tomorrow for the Price Family Supreme semi final

The babies did us proud again today for the APHS Invicta Show

CMUK Dream Catcher took:
1st in Pure Bred USA Breeds in hand
1st Foreign breed youngstock
Reserve Champion pure bred foreign breed

BZH Heol Valonia took:
2nd pure bred USA breeds
2nd foreign breed youngstock

These babies are in their final year for youngstock classes and then it will be onto the mature classes and ridden careers

Couldn’t be more amazed by their astounding attitudes when at the shows…. Just love them ❤️❤️

Xantia had a little visitor today, Miss Nancy.

Think it’s safe to say they were both inquisitive of each other 😍
And Nancy had her first ever sit on a horse - Ionian Xtacy. The most gentle horse in the world 🥰

So at around 23:20pm last night the long wait was over and Gucci gave birth to a beautiful little filly on day 345.
Some assistance needed with a stuck shoulder, but once that was clear she came out beautifully.
Gucci is being an amazing mum, and baby is getting stronger by the minute.

Not sure what size she’ll be but the legs on her means she’s already a model 🥰

Bluestone Miss Magic aka Gucci
Official due date is the 12th June but could go between now and the 22nd June… or whenever she chooses to 😂

Looking like a gorgeous mumma and leading the gang in from the back fields for her daily snooze time ❤️

Nice little day out to Heathfield show…. Or was it lol 😂

Inevitably being the bank holiday weekend, we got stuck in traffic heading to the port which was ridiculous but the ponies were shaded and just continued eating lol thankfully we left very early!
We arrive at the show and get ourselves and the kiddies ready and head to the ring… ring was running 30 minutes late… such fun!
Finally got in the ring after sweating half our body weight off and the kids were amazing, until Heol decided to get his tongue over the bit 🤦‍♀️ after the slight technical issue CMUK Dream Catcher took 2nd place and BZH Heol Valonia took 5th in the foreign breed class.

You win some and you lose some, but from today we are taking away the kids especially Heol is just a true gent considering he’s a stallion

Very proud of them both 🥰🥰🥰

Around 10 weeks to go for Bluestone Miss Magic.
The baby bump is growing everyday and she continues to take everything in her stride and be the relaxed and lovely lady that she is 😍

A lovely first show of the season with the babies 🥰
BZH Heol Valonia took 1st in the Youngstock and then took morning Reserve Champion and also 2nd in the foreign breed pure youngstock.

CMUK Dream Catcher took 1st in the foreign breed pure class and then foreign breed champion.

Both were good ponies and we look forward to the rest of the showing season ❤️

PJB Lucille Every evening she shows off her grub. This little lady loves her chaff and conditioning mash… never known such a noisy eater 😂

I love this little mare Shananigan 😍 She really is my ❤️ horse. She harnessed her frustration of not getting turned out this morning before being ridden, to give some lovely, if not a bit strong work. She has such an amazing and funny character, but is soo loving and affectionate. Don’t rush the process, give them time and no matter what they do, they will ALWAYS make you smile 😊
