We are unfortunately out of office until Wednesday 28th of August!! 💕🐾 We are having a well deserved break in Norfolk and then hopefully onto Whitby next weekend!!

All messages, emails and calls will be replied too when I get back, but for anything urgent please drop a text stating it’s urgent and I’ll try my best to reply/ sort the issue.

Oreo is how we feel about doing any admin this week!! 💤

But in order for us to have a nice weekend away…we are playing catch up tonight!! 💗🙌

Oreo is feeling super sorry for himself after being castrated yesterday. 🐾 We are giving him plenty of love and cuddles and reminding him it’ll all be worth it when he can roam free in the big wide world! ☺️

Here at Fuzzy Scruffies we would like to thank each and every one of you for your amazing support 💕 it is truly so heartwarming and has been a blast these last 6 months!!

I can’t believe we are going into our 7 month of Re-Opening 🥰🤩

So with all this amazing news, I have just posted my August availability and all July invoices should be sent by this afternoon, but please bare with as just today I’ve been busy with window cleaners, carpet fitters, a naughty kitten and playing lots of catch up on admin which I still seem to be knee deep in even though I’ve been going strong since 9am 💪😂

Let’s hope this nice weather keeps up and we get the most out of summer this August…this being said…availability is very low due to standing bookings and some time out for myself to enjoy! 💕

We’ve had visits to little miss Mable the past 2 days as usual for her! 🐾💕 But….Today was extra special because Mable went on a very special adventure to Nottingham and beyond!

Mable started her day with a lovely walk to Newark bus station where she was fussed over by many people while waiting and keeping an eye out 👁️ for the number 90 bus.

Mable’s first time on a bus (We Think?!). She was very nervous at first but with a little reassurance and a cuddle she was well on her way to seeking out the Market Square and other Nottingham Landmarks 😂

Mable sat like such a good girl, watching the world go by. We then got a snap of Mable going over Trent Bridge, with the water looking very tempting of course. 🌊

After sitting like a pawsome dude we finally made it to Nottingham City Centre where of course she had to pose in front of Market Square for a snap to send her parents!! 📸

Then a walk through the city to our next venture to get more rural than the bustling city! 🌆

Mable waited patiently again at the bus station, getting all the attention she could dream of. We got on the very big pink bus and headed to see a very special person and another furry friend. 💕🐾

This 15 minute journey again had many sights and Mable loved getting off and enjoyed her walk to see my dad (whose birthday is tomorrow! 🥳🎂 Happy Birthday Pops!!) and a special young 10 month old Labrador called Revor 🐶

We spent some quality time and Mable was in her element playing all afternoon with Revor and getting treats from my dad who loves little Mable so much.

Maybe a cheeky nap was involved too for both Mable and Revor. 🐾🐾

After a day of fun it was time to head home where we got a lift all the way back and again Mable loved the car journey home!

A walk for Mable by the river this lunch period 🥰 just what was needed! Then some lovely playtime and fuss at home of course!

Today’s walk was energetic and fun, we greeted about 3 other dogs on our way round, and of course mable wanted to play with all of them!

We will look forward to our sessions next week little one 💗

A lil stick your tongue out from Winston!😛He was loving his play and fussing today! We spent 2 hours in total keeping this cute guy company and he loved every second of it!

Mable is always a happy girly when out on adventures!! This weekend we did a drop in which then turned into a walk on the field…because how can we say no to this cute face! 🐾💕

Mable was originally written in the diary for a drop in session to just play out in the garden and give some fuss! But we saw the lovely weather and a field of opportunity and thought we can’t just leave it there ☺️

Sessions are easily changed with a little notice and a quick message so if you decide you want to change a session that’s booked in, I will try my best to accommodate this!!

As we’ve been keeping busy here at Fuzzy Scruffies!! 🐾 We’d like to remind you of some important information for the week ahead and hopefully beyond….

Fingers crossed we’re in for some summer heat from now on, ☀️ it’ll make a change from how wet the start of 2024 has been!!💧

HOWEVER….we need to make sure we are keeping all of our fur babies safe at the same time as being out and about enjoying this sunny weather!! And importantly also keeping ourselves aware and safe of the weather.

Let’s make sure we are drinking plenty (and we mean water…not beer!!😉😂), applying some sunscreen to protect your skin, and trying to stay out of the direct sun between 12-3pm!!

As we keep ourselves safe it’s soo important we keep our fur babies just as safe with keeping them as cool as possible and walking dogs early morning and late evening. 💗 There is also many other methods to help with keeping your fur babies at ease but please do what works best for you!! ☺️

For some context on how important this issue is… it was reported that in 2023 there were among 855 cases of dogs being rescued from heat and unfortunately 163 of those were fatal! These cases are worldwide (but still as shocking!) and these are also only the reported cases! There is also already 14 fatalities for 2024!! 😲
-PETA, Companion Animals and Hot Weather.

There are also many accessible studies on the issue as long as you have internet access available. Some of these are far closer to home, if you care to look!

This was a very full on post for us here at Fuzzy Scruffies but if we have a platform to educate, educating is what we shall do as animals have a very special place in our hearts 💕

Today has been hectic with my full time job…just a little 8am till 6pm shift completed ✔️😉 but we still had time to fit in this beautiful girl of course. She walked so well and loved her lunchtime walk around Sconce Park, we then also had time for 10mins of fuss which Mable adored and I was almost late for my next client at work!! 😂🥰

As we forgot to post our… Elevate Fridays post on Friday we are going to catch up and do it today! The week seemed to just whizz away last week!! ☺️😀

So this post is going to be dedicated to Coco's Little Kitchen! 🥰😋

Coco’s little kitchen are located not far from Newark-On-Trent in Blidworth and are a Nottinghamshire based business! They also attend local artisan food markets and more!

They offer a range of different options over at Coco’s Little Kitchen and I can say they are absolutely delicious. 🤤

From afternoon teas, buffets, cakes and bakes to celebration cakes and lots more! Why not check out there page and see what they are all about.

The customer service is phenomenal and they are allergy inclusive and will cater for your dietary needs!!! 💗 So… the question is what more could you need? 😉

Go check it all out and get some treats ordered, I promise you won’t regret it and even Father’s Day is creeping up on us so why not treat dad to a special something!!! 😋

Mable walkies today! Here’s a pic of us escaping the office! We couldn’t wait to get out of there 😂 to continue our 60 min walk.

Mable enjoy seeing new faces and walking around Newark today whilst we accomplished some admin for my full time job.

Winston fuss as always!!

Looking very chilled and content after all the excitement of me coming ☺️

As we’ve posted before Winston loves a fuss and will soak in all the cuddles you can give. He’s also very playful but yesterday in true Winston style, I think a lazy day was on the cards and he just wanted some fussin’ 😂

He was also watching my every move from his perch on the first pic, but I think it makes a perfect photo of the beautiful boy. 💗

Everybody meet Oreo!

The newest lil member to our crazy family 🐾💕 Oreo is nearly 9 weeks old and has settled in over the last few days perfectly. His lil personality is starting to shine through as he gets more confident!

Wish us luck for Saturday when he’s got to be a brave boy and face the vets for the first time. 🐾

Mable independently playing after a walk yesterday and of course we got soaked through again!

Where’s the summer sunshine gone? ☀️

Mable loved her walk but we did only mange 45 mins in yesterday’s terrible weather which meant we had time to dry off and play with toys! Mable enjoys us getting involved with playtime but as you can see here she’ll happily play on her own.

We ended the session with a treat and fuss as always ☺️

It’s that time of the month again, and I can’t quite believe how quick May has gone by!!

However, for June we have very limited availability due to some existing bookings and also some well deserved annual leave ☺️

So to make things very simple next month…I have availability left for every Tuesday (4th, 11th, 18th and 25th of June).

All weekends are fully booked!!!

And any other days I may have gaps but it is better to get in contact and enquire to see what’s available for your needs 🥰

Bit of a different post this Friday!

I want to start doing Elevate Fridays, these are to promote my fellow small business owners and get them some footfall ☺️

So for our first elevate Friday I want to introduce you to Haunted Moments Paranormal Events - HMP!

These guys have a special place in my heart and are a small paranormal investigator company!

They specialise in ghost hunts across the UK and are smashing it at what they all do best! 👻

As we know I have a heavy Newark-On-Trent following and am specifically going to promote the Newark town hall event…and be quick because not only is this a local event, it has limited tickets and is the first time memebers of the public have access via a paranormal group!!

Happy Wednesday!!!

Us dog walkers work in all weathers regardless! Today we have got soaked through but it’s all worth it to give your fur babies that well deserved time 🐶🥰

Mable may look like she has had enough here but she did in fact love her walk out by the river where she enjoyed the smells and sights! She got tired towards the end of the walk and was very thankful for a towel dry and a quick play back at home.

It’s Friyayyyy…..

Today was good boy Winnie time!

Winnie loves a good sofa cuddle and believe it or not a massage, I give Winnie boy lots of love and occasionally a good puppo massage!

Canine massage therapy is something I aspire to achieve in the near future and to add to the list of qualifications I already hold! Among this I also will be working on looking for a dog grooming course to become qualified and keep my foot in the door (and because I’m a self diagnosed nerd and love learning as much as I can!! 😂).

This being said….Can someone please add 2 extra days to my week so I have time to achieve all my goals!!! 🥰

Anyway what’s everyone’s plans for the weekend?

Happy Hump-Day Wednesday….

✨ Early 40min lunch walk for Miss Mable! ✨

A leisurely walk around the local park today. I was fortunate to have a morning cancellation with my current full time job which left a gap to focus on business🗓️🐶, this of course meant I could come and take this sweet girl out! We also had time for some cuddles once back home 🥰

We’ve been very busy these past few weeks, which is lovely and we can’t wait to continue growing 📈💗 as always give us a message for any enquiries!

Lots of cuddles with Winston yesterday!

We haven’t seen Winston for around 3 weeks so it’s safe to say we both missed each other and Winston was over the moon to see me back for cuddles and massage time 💕

Visits to Winston can vary from 1 to 3 times a week depending on work patterns. We mainly sit and cuddle and have abit of playtime as his mum and dad just want him to have some company throughout the day! But…don’t worry he gets some long and awesome walks before they go to work and when they come home!

I would like to make people aware on my page of some important info as I’ve recently had a fair few bookings/discussions (at no fault of their own…May I add(I should have made it clearer)) that assume pet sitting means the animal comes and stays in my home.

So, below is information on the difference between pet sitting and pet home boarding!

Although here at Fuzzy Scruffies we are fully insured and DBS checked, we DO NOT hold a license to home board within my personal home.

We have many reasons why we do not offer this service presently, and if these circumstances change I will definitely update my page to offer home boarding!

Mables version of personal space is somewhat non-existent 😂 and there’s honestly nothing we love more than a doggo cuddle! 🐾💕

Mable went on a walk yesterday and we couldn’t resist the opportunity to fit in some well needed fuss and cuddles post-walk 🐶🐕
