We don’t just do dog walking ~ we love to care for your cats too!

Cats were actually my first love; growing up, we always had cats as pets, and I had cats of my own as a young adult. I now have a house full of dogs, so welcome any opportunity to care for other people’s cats!!

… and this is why Lily is crated when I go out! She’s chewed a hole in my brand new sofa and the skirting board, has destroyed socks and flip flops, and will not think twice about eating items that she considers ‘tasty’ but may actually kill her. And, even though she’s fully house trained, it avoids the possibility of returning home to unwanted ‘gifts’ 💩

She’s more than happy to chill in her crate; she’ll even go in there of her own accord when she’s tired. It’s also a great tool to encourage her to rest ~ otherwise I get the ‘overtired toddler’ behaviour 😩

Crates aren’t ‘cruel’ if they’re introduced and used in a kind, appropriate way.

Don’t forget to walk your pups early and keep them cool during the day, with plenty of water for both drinking and playing in! 💦

When I started walking dogs during the pandemic, I never thought it would lead to this! I walked dogs part time while studying at university, then realised my passion for all things canine ~ and the enormous benefits to my mental health ~ so put my studies on hold and made the leap! ☺️

A huge thank you to clients past, present and future; I feel incredibly honoured and humbled that you trust me with your beloved family members ~ who have, in turn, become an extended part of my own crazy pack 🤪

I LOVE to learn, and am always looking to expand my skill set ~ I have new services planned and hope to roll them out this coming year… exciting times ahead 🙌🏻

🐾 My mission is to boost your dog’s confidence through improved engagement, basic obedience, manners & recall training and encouraging appropriate interactions & play. I have extensive first-hand experience in rehoming adult dogs, managing reactivity and raising puppies.

🐾 Walks are planned to provide maximum enjoyment and enrichment ~ we visit different walking locations throughout the week and take our time to explore them; hence ‘Paws’ & Sniff!

🐾 Secure field sessions are available for puppies & adult dogs with poor recall / high prey drive, and are ideal for those of a nervous disposition!

🐾 We are insured with PetPlan Sanctuary and care for dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds, including XL Bully ‘types’. Groups are restricted in number to the limits set by the local authority and all dogs wear Tractive GPS trackers for additional peace of mind.

This Thursday (18th July), the European Political Community Summit is being held at the Palace. This will bring increased traffic to our area so it is advised to plan ahead to avoid rush hour and seek alternative routes to the A44.

The Palace, Gardens (including Adventure Play), and Parkland will be closed from Monday 15th July to Saturday 20th July.
Please note that local and public footpaths will be closed from Tuesday 16th July to 19th July.

🔆 If you’re struggling to get your dog out before the heat (some of us aren’t early birds 😴), do get in touch about early morning walks!

🐾 I take my own dogs out every day at about 6am and they’d love to have some friends join them! Equally, if you’re out and would like a walking buddy, we’d love you to join us too!

JUST A REMINDER, TO ALL DOG OWNERS.

⚠️🚙⚠️ Despite the warnings, hundreds of dogs in the UK die every year after being left in a hot car. Someone you know may need to read this very important message. ⚠️🚙⚠️

SIX MINUTES is all it takes for a dog to overheat in a hot car.

Your dog could suffer serious injury or die in a matter of minutes if left alone in a car.

• The temperature inside a closed vehicle left in the sun can double within 12 minutes.

• At least 75% of the temperature increase in a closed vehicle occurs within 5 minutes of closing the vehicle, and at least 89% of the temperature increase occurs within 15 minutes of closing the vehicle.

• Temperatures exceeding 104˚ F can lead to death or serious injury for the occupants.

• Temperatures in a closed vehicle sitting in the hot sun can reach 160˚F and above. An animal will suffer immeasurably and may die before the temperature reaches 150˚F.

• Even when parked in the shade, the vehicle temperatures can exceed 104˚C.

• Leaving windows down more than 2 inches on an unattended vehicle will not prevent a car from reaching extreme temperatures.

• Even if the animal is revived, they can die due to severe internal organ damage.

Your dog trusts you to have their best interest at heart ALWAYS.
Please don’t risk their safety.

If you are not taking your dog inside your destination with you, PLEASE leave them at home where they are comfortable and safe.

❌ Please, please PLEASE take care in this warmer weather ~ I was HORRIFIED to see people walking their dogs at lunchtime yesterday, when the temperature was well over 25°C 😩

⚠️ No dog ever died by missing a walk ~ but they may die if you take them out when it’s too hot.

🔆 I am extremely cautious when temperatures reach 20°, and I DO NOT walk dogs when temperatures exceed 25° ~ it’s just not worth the risk! My own dogs are walked at 6am and that’s it ~ I have a puppy and a 13y/o and would be devastated if anything happened to them 😭

‼️ Remember ~ dogs happily go out in temperatures below zero without a coat, when we’re wrapped up in layers … just think how hot they must be when it’s 25-30° hotter and even we are feeling the heat!!

Free microchipping event on 22nd June from 9am-2pm 🐈

Did you know that as of the 10th of June, it will be a legal requirement that all cats are microchipped?

We are teaming up with RSPCA Oxfordshire to provide a free microchipping service for one day.

The Hart Veterinary Centre in Bicester & Aylesbury has kindly offered to hold the event at their Bicester practice in Browning Drive. 🥰

Please note to help as many households as possible we will be limiting it to two cats per household. 🐈

Donations are always welcome and will be split between both charities. 💚
