Hello Grace here. Apparently I maybe getting good news soon! I'll be sad to leave my foster home but will be happy to get more attention than FM can give me.

Grace is 10 months old and looking for her forever home.
Her temperament is amazing, good with people, children and other dogs.
She is house trained and crate trained.
She is a joy to live with and train.
She would prefer a quiet area but doesn't have to be completely rural.
She has a lot of love to give so would prefer someone who can give it back.

Why is she still looking for her home? Probably because she's not fluffy 🥲

Hi Grace here. Apparently training me is like child's play! I'm so easy to train I will make someone a fantastic pet. I really like it when the smaller humans come visit.

Many people believe the colour of a dog's eyes indicate its likely temperament. Dark brown indicating a soft temperament and biddability. Well you can't get darker brown than these beautiful dark pools....and yes she is very soft and biddable ❤️❤️❤️

So what's the difference between collies and huntaways? Huntaways are much better at boinging!

Grace is a huntaway x collie, 9 month's old and a total sweetheart. Needs to learn commands but is very willing to please. She is available for adoption.

From foster Mum:

Grace is a special dog with a very soft nature, and quite timid which is not surprising given their start in life.

As part of their assesment foster dogs usually meet my grandsons, outside on a lead gradually decreasing distance to see how they react. With Grace we did it differently as she is so soft. My grandsons are very calm and gentle First she hid in the kitchen, then came through for sausage. The photos speak for themselves ❤️

Today me and Lad went on an outing to a local village just to get me a little more used to busy places. FM says I was very good. I don't mind the cars, but the bin lorry was a little scary. I love meeting people especially kind ladies who give me treats, and some men in hi viz gave me a stroke. I don't mind the other dogs and there's all sorts of shapes and sizes! I saw babies on wheels, older people on wheels, people zooming on cycles and don't mind those. The young humans making squealing noises on the swings got me a little worried so we didnt go too close.

FM is proud of both me and Lad, as you can see from the photos Lad did his best calming signals to me to tell me it was OK ❤️

PPBC Grace is available for adoption. She is a 9 month old collie x huntaway (don't worry she hardly barks at all!). She has the sweetest nature, not one ounce of aggression, just a lovely, gentle, loving dog. She will need a loving, gentle owner.

As she settles in foster she has shown a cheeky side to her, like leaping on the worktop! She is responsive to "no" so should be easy to fix.

She really loves to gently put her front paws on your waist and snuggle her head into you for love and reassurance. Maybe if this would annoy you, don't apply!

Grace has had no training whatsoever, and is just learning her name and that treats happen when you sit or come up to foster mum. No words have been attached to actions yet, but should come quickly. The flipside to this is she has never learnt anything bad.

She is having new experiences daily along with her mentor dog who is showing her not to be scared of things. She has never lived as an only dog so would like a lovely bombproof dog to live with and learn from.

Now living in a house she is clean, only 1 accident in week 1!

Not yet tested with cats, livestock or children. Can cope with quiet roads at the moment.

Grace here again with some photos of my walk today. I'm good on a lead to say I have had no training, I like sniffing new sniffs so can weave about but I don't pull FM very much.

I don't mind cars and vans coming past us on these small roads because I get sausages! I could hear the traffic in the distance on the big road too but we didn't go very close FM said it's too soon.

I always have my calm mentor Lad with me when we're out and about. He shows me how to be calm and get sausages 😉

Hello my name is Grace and I'm only a pup of 9 months old. The world is very new to me because me and my siblings had not seen beyond our barn until we came into rescue a couple of weeks ago. I have to learn lots of stuff! One thing I do know is how to live with lots of dogs and I'm very friendly with all of these new friends even the grumpy ones! I'm the one at the front of the photo chewing my antler - it was the only way FM could get me to lie down!
