BIGGEST thankyou to all my special dogs and their wonderful pawrents for choosing & trusting Tails & Tors. I can’t believe how lucky I got with all of you, with all your understanding, patience and loyalty.

I’m totally overwhelmed with all the kind words, cards and gifts I’ve received - think I’m still in denial 😅 Every single dog has their own personality and quirks and I’ve loved getting to know them all over the last two years. One thing I will miss the most is their happy faces and wagging tails when I open the door (apart from who would always prefer to go back to sleep 😂)

🐍 we have seen several on the moors 🐍

This hot weather has brought these beauties out to sunbathe. Take care walking on heathlands and the moors and stick to clear paths. Adders will move away from noise/vibrations to avoid confrontations, but they will bite if taken by surprise, trodden on or have a nosy dog poking at them!! In the event of your dog being bitten, don’t panic! If possible, carry your dog to the car and ring us to alert us to your imminent arrival. Not all cases need anti-venom, but we routinely stock it. Another local vets picked some up from us yesterday for a patient of theirs and we had another case of our own today.
Stay vigilant and enjoy the sunshine! 🐍
