My name is Susan and my passion is animals. Would you like peace of mind that your kitty is happy whilst you are away. I am DBS police checked, fully insured and will look after your little ones like they were my own. I own three cats which mean the world to me they are Alfie, Dudley and Vinny. I adopted them all from Grinshill Animal Rescue where I used to volunteer on a Mo

nday morning after loosing my beautiful Nash and Daisy within 6 months of each other. My 3 boys are all sweethearts and I couldn’t image life without them. I decided that turning 55 my career path needed to change and I wanted to pursue my dream which is why I have started PawPurrs. Unfortunately not all kitties benefit from catteries which is why I would be honoured to look after yours. I know my 3 have routines and are comfiest at home sleeping in a nest of one of my jumpers or dressing gowns. Let me be part of your happy, kitty stress free journey wherever that might be. If your kitty needs to visit the vet and your work schedule is hectic, give me a call and I will happily take them for their appointment. I can take out and bring back in the weekly bins and shut curtains on request.

My last post as a kitty sitter in Telford – It’s been an incredible 4 year journey for me owning PawPurrs. To say I have loved every minute of every visit is an understatement. My life has been filled with kitties and has been perfect. Some would say the perfect job, but to me it was never a job, it was my little slice of heaven, being loved by so many of your babies and seeing them happy in their own home was reward enough.

I can never say it enough, but the gratitude I have for all of my kitty owners trusting me with your little ones is endless. Without you all I wouldn’t have had a chance to get my business up and running. So thank you to each and every kitty mommy and daddy for trusting me and allowing me to be part of your fur babies lives 🫶

I have so many video clips of your little ones that I will cherish always. A million memories of singing to them and watching the wonderful funny things they did including a few scary ones too. From a beautiful boy who loved jumping on my back so he could be carried around, to wishing I had 3 arms to stroke 3 of the most loving boys at the same time so no one felt left out, having nervous kitties hiding but then enjoying treats out of my hand and loving tickles in no time, then to being chased out of an enclosure by 2 ducks I was sitting for 🤣 I could go on. Memories to last a lifetime.

Today I counted how many of your little ones I looked after so here goes :-
104 kitties, 4 doggies, 1 tortoise, 2 ducks, 2 chinchillas, 2 rabbits, 1 hamster, 2 bearded dragons (rainbow bridge babies) and countless fish, what an amazing journey I’ve had.

Singing was always something I did during my visits, I felt it calmed the nervous babies and some darlings joined in using their own little sounds or they gave me a little head boop to carry on or were they trying to tell me to stop I was never sure 😹 But one of my little sing songs was “I love you, I love you, I love you” I sang that especially as I was saying goodbye after each visit.

I wanted to dedicate my last kitty sitting post though to all the loves I looked after who have crossed Rainbow Bridge, they all touched my life in a special way and will never be forgotten.

PawPurrs update - Unfortunately I'm unable to take anymore bookings for both of the May bank holidays as my diary is full now. I will be contacting all kitty mum's and dad's nearer those dates who I'm sitting for to collect keys. Also just a quick reminder me and hubby are off to Devon 19th/20th April for his birthday.

An update on our move - We have sold our home, and dates discussed for moving are early June, so breakfast time on the 1st June will be the last kitty visits for me and PawPurrs.

I will be posting on my PawPurrs page before then so please keep following.

Dates not available - unfortunately I am now fully booked for Easter so I'm unable to take anymore bookings for the following dates 28th March to 01st April.

I'm also away from Friday 19th April to Monday 22nd April (its hubby's birthday)

This is a hard post to write but I wanted to let everyone know sooner rather than later. I will be closing my kitty sitting business at the end of May as me, hubby and my 3 fur boys Dudley, Vinny and Alfie are moving out of Shropshire .

I have been in contact with all my owners to make them aware. I wish I could take all my PawPurrs kitties with me but I think their mums and dads would object. I have so many clips of your darlings that I will treasure always.

I have been in contact with 2 lovely kitty sitters, I only want to recommend ones who I know will love your babies as much as I do. Chris is with Home Loving Cats and has looked after a couple of my kitty families before, her telephone number is 07837 665442 and Clare who owns Cats Pyjamas, Clare is en ex Veterinary nurse and her telephone number is 07825 883455.

I will keep everyone updated when I know my moving date, but unfortunately I wont be able to take on any new kitties or any bookings after the end of May because I would hate to let anyone down.

Please give all your beautiful loves a kiss from me, I will miss them all terribly.

Dates not available - I just wanted to let everyone know I'm not available from Friday 23rd February to Sunday 25th February. I will beable to answer text's/Facebook messages etc though.

Also before I forget another important kitty date it seems today is Tuxedo Cat Apreciation Day so Happy Tuxedo Day to all your beautiful Tux's, sending kisses to them all ######

My year has been so full with kitty sitting, each paw I’ve held, every purr I’ve heard and each tummy I’ve tickled every one of your fur babies has a place in my heart and has made my year so special.

I’ve laughed so much at the funny things your kitties have done and I’ve cried oceans too for the little loves who have crossed rainbow bridge but who I will always remember.

I’ve looked after really nervous loves but with lots of laying on floors and singing to them I’ll get a gentle head boop which is a wonderful break through then its all love and cuddles from then on, it’s always a magical moment for me.

As we approach the New Year I want to thank each owner for your trust and for choosing me as your cat sitter, it’s been an honour and a pleasure.

Wishing you all the very best for 2024, with love, hugs and purrs from me, Dudley, Vinny and Alfie my PawPurrs gang.

Wishing a Happy Christmas to every beautiful fur baby and their owners 💙 I was going to send a PawPurrs Christmas card to all my extended kitty families again this year but instead I want to donate the money to a rescue very dear to my heart, Next Steps Cat Rescue Shropshire. They are amazing and came to my rescue when I found a lost tiny kitten, Amy you are amazing and your Lola was a wonderful helper carrying Little Woody safely home ###

I know we are still in November but I have to post that I am now fully booked from 22nd December 2023 to 01st January 2024.

Everyone who has contacted me for Christmas visits are in the diary and I will contact you all nearer the time to collect keys and go over your kitties routines.

Today on my kitty sitting rounds I spotted the tiniest kitten running along the country road. The poor little love wouldn't come to me, it was so scared. I contacted a guardian angel which is Amy at Next Steps Cat Rescue Shropshire and she came and used her brilliant knowledge and she now has the little love safe and warm. This sweet baby has cat flu and will need treatment, if you can spare change, a £ anything to help get this baby better me and the rescue would be so grateful. I got to see what rescue's see every day this morning and I could have cried buckets when I saw it wrapped in a fluffy blanket rather than curled up in a hedge in the cold. Amy your amazing, thank you ###

Just been out to this one in little Wenlock when we were alerted to him running around.

Nervous but as soon as I put on mum cat calls on my phone, he ran to me as quick as he could.

I am DBS police checked, fully insured and will look after your little ones like they were my own.

I own two cats which mean the world to me they are Daisy and Nash and are brother and sister but with very different personalities. Nash has epilepsy but I make sure his tablets are given in a fun and tasty way to avoid any stress. They are both sweethearts and I couldn’t image life without them.

I am also a lover of dogs, they are our companions and best friends, they love unconditionally and bring such joy to our lives. The dog in our family is called Sandy and is a real character who charms everyone who meets him, he is a beautiful white Bichon, a photo of our proud boy is in the photo gallery as are my 2 kitties. Let me be your dog walker whilst you are at work or if you just need help due to a health problem I can spend time with your pooch, going for a 20 - 30 minute walk or longer. I would be glad to discuss what you are happiest with.
