Boring video alert! Kite has had to learn to sit still, quietly and wait. It's not all about picking up birds and the excitement of the guns! She is steady as a rock waiting, waiting......
Breakfast time! Everyone has to wait until their name is called, and look at us before they get to eat. Spice has mastered it! ❤️
When you take Spice out to go to the toilet in the garden and all she does is this! 🙈 we love the little bottom plonk at the end 🤣❤️
This little girl has so much character. She likes to have something in her mouth, usually the other dogs legs! ❤️
DOG DOWN 😫Poor Kite is on short walks until a vet visit tomorrow. She went into a hedge yesterday and came out with a thorn in her foot. We think the sharp bit might still be in there although it's not swollen and she's not licking it. She had a poultice on it to try and draw anything out but nothing so far. Fingers crossed its only minor 🤞 (she was still running around on 3 legs 🙈)

Heelwork
All heeling pretty nicely. It's really hard work for them to do this as all they want to do is sniff and run but control is always key with any dog 👍
Fur dummy retrieve
Cheeky little retrieve on her birthday. She hasn't been on fur for long so pleased that she's happy to pick it up nicely 👍

Kite
Kite starting work with the Dokken dummy. It's a big beast with hanging, flappy bits 🤣 (excuse me struggling to hold a phone and direct her!) ❤️
Kite and wren
These two enjoying some frozen lamb ribs in the sun. Great for cleaning their teeth and peace and quiet for us! ❤️👍🙈
Wren placeboard training
We have been doing some placeboard training with Wren. She spent a couple of sessions jumping them and then suddenly it all clicked and she got it!
Placeboards are a really good training aid for dogs with 'ants in their pants' which is definitely what Wren has! 🙈

Working on delivery.
Kite had started to drop the ball/dummy at my feet which I wanted to stop straight away. She also began running around with it before coming back. We have been practicing the "hold" command and increasing the distance from sit and hold to delivery. Happy with the progress so far 👍❤
Kite 25/2/22
Working hard on the sit/stay command with Kite. She's so much better than she was, we have added a bit of extra distance each time. I shall also do less whistle each time, I only did extra to reiterate the command 👍❤
