Another great day at our Dino Dig event. Our fossils must have been really underground and hard to find today with only x5 winners (x2 not pictured). That means tomorrow we will have x17 to be found! (limited to one per person)...will we have 17 winners tomorrow? Pay as you please entry and the event starts at 10am so come along and try to be one of our winning Paleontologists!

We are also excited to announce we will be extending the event a further two days with some schools still being off Monday and Tuesday on this mid term break. Happy Digging!

This means x12 Dinos to be found tomorrow starting at 10am.

It's that time of the year again we are calling all Fossil Hunters to grab your Palaeontologist hat and come and join us at The Scottish Deer Centre's for our Dino Dig.
From Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th February, there will be ten miniature dinosaur fossils to be found in our T-Rex digging site. Prizes will be given to our 10 future Palaeontologists each day.

We hope everyone has stayed safe during storm Eowyn. Unfortunately, we have been hit harder than we anticipated and will need to remain closed tomorrow 😢

All animals are safe and we thank everyone of our team for the efforts made to ensure this.

We will be open Sunday as normal after tomorrow’s clean up to make it safe for general public.

⚠️ Storm Éowyn - Park Closure ⚠️

The Scottish Deer Centre will be closed to the public on Friday the 24th of January due to extreme weather conditions from Storm Éowyn. 🌬💨🌧

Our Keeper Team will be looking after the animals while you all stay safe and we hope to see you soon when we reopen as usual on Saturday.❤️ 🐻🦌🐺

Happy New Year everyone 🎉 we hope you have all had great festivities.

We are now back open as normal today. Pay as you please entry still active so whether it’s a full day, afternoon or a couple of hours we would love to see you (even if some of you can’t see us)

We have big plans for 2025 including Muddy Boots phase 2 installation and yes that includes the giant water slide!! 😍 We will hopefully have our outdoor nursery, Little Doe Daycare open soon as well 🤞 Exciting times! Cheery

We would like to thank each and every one of you that came along to our grotto. We can’t believe it’s over for another year. Our minds are already thinking about how to make it even better next year🎄

A big shout also to our team who go above and beyond to make it happen ❤️

We are closed tomorrow, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day but open over the festivities apart from those days. Pay as you please still active. Thank you to our staff that come in on those days to make sure animals are all ok and fed ❤️
