"Shock collars are one of the most unethical methods we have seen used in an attempt to control a dog's behaviour. Not only can they cause physical damage to a dog, the psychological distress and implications are far reaching.

Although it may be perceived that they are beneficial as a short term fix because of the dog's confusion and pain reaction meaning that they cease the undesired behaviour, the increased risk of aversive behaviours in other areas that the dog is likely to display as a result must not be overlooked. This may well include fear based aggression to humans and dogs, severe anxiety and mental trauma.

The sheer cruelty of shock collars in my opinion is an outright breach of the Animal Welfare Act 2006 which details the need to be protected from "pain, suffering, injury and disease" and should be addressed as such in a court of law.

It is highly disappointing that this day in age we are still having conversations about this, despite all the scientific research that corroborates the sheer brutality of shock collars."

I am extremely proud and excited to announce that I am a fully assessed dog reactivity expert. I have completed 50 hours of add on training to my existing qualifications in dog behaviour to bring you up to date science and help with your reactive dog. I also hold certificates in canine fear, canine anxiety and canine coaching. I am a proud advocate of canine ethics as a member of the national institute for canine ethics as well as a member of the international association of behaviour counsellors and professional supporting business of the Uk dog charter.
I studied animal behaviour and welfare at harper Adams university and went on the qualify as a master photographer with the master photography association.

Henry is a superstar with so so so much love to give and an incredibly fast learner. He just wants to love and be loved bless him! But much fun to work with!
