A great sunny ☀️ day at A4A EASTER 2024 albeit a little muddy.

This was mine and Pennys 🐶 first outing for quite a while due to taking a step back and revising how we run. This year it’s time to put it into practice (and to get a bit fitter on my part)

Eliminated in jumping.

Evening all!

I am now in a position to start offering 1-2-1’s for agility at Marksbury near Bath.

Costs are £35 per hour or if you have a 2-1 it will be £20 each (£40 total)

Today more of my students came out to compete in the winter sun ☀️

They certainly proved that their training is paying off! Well done to all of you.

Some stand out moments were Jodie competing with her younger dog for the first time and she’s only been training for 8 weeks or so.

Some of my handlers and their pooch’s were out in the rain today for the Active fun steeplechase in Bradford on Avon.

Their results are getting more and more consistent with very little errors now being made. Keep pushing guys ready for next year!

Today was the Active Steeplechase show at Bradford on Avon.

It was so nice to see so many of you having fun and great runs with your dogs but a special well done goes to some of the handlers I train week in week out. They came along today having only done a few shows or this being their first one!

There were firsts, thirds and clear rounds with Sophie, Esme, Andy, Sue, Donna and Jon.

Amazing. So proud of you all.

My number one rule in agility is to always HAVE FUN. So it seemed a bit weird to go to LYDIARD with a plan to get Penny up to senior today.

She smashed both of her runs with 2-3 seconds above the others!

But we won’t mention the agility course where it looked like we had never competed before 🙈

It is with sadness we announce the cancellation of this years Dog Show and Demonstrations in the Garston Veterinary Group Dog Ring.

We would like to encourage visitors to leave their dogs at home on Saturday due to the high temperatures predicted. Under no circumstances are dogs to be left in cars and if any dog is found in a car, immediate action will take place.

Thank you for your understanding but be assured the dog show will be back stronger than ever in 2024 🐶

I don’t really post courses of my lessons but my Wednesday and Thursday groups attacked this jumping skills course with some even trying to layer the weaves, awesome send ons, early commands and letting the dogs do the work.

Well done to all of you especially the newbies to the groups and those that took advantage of extra training.

Do you want to up your skill level in agility now your competing? Need to work on those pesky weave entries or send your dog independently?

A new class, with myself alongside Active Agility Events and Fun Shows is aimed at novice and above handlers starting soon!

Venue will be Widbrook equestrian centre, Bradford on Avon and held on a Thursday evening at 7.30.
