Tonight while heading up to do the horses I see this little monk jack on the side of the road, I always stop when I see things like this just in case they are still alive, most of the time not but tonight she was still breathing so I scooped her up and took her to the yard and contacted Kelly from deer in danger who come and got her, thankfully nothing broke but she’s in shock so hopefully she makes it
I can not thank Kelly Butler enough for what they do

December is a tough month, another year without my dear mum who loved animals, many monk jacks come into our garden especially to eat the apples from the apple tree and she would sit at the window and watch them
