Well everybody, today I went on a narrowboat for the first time and I LOVED IT, especially because my parents hopped off half way through the journey and took me on a lovely new walk. I was VERY brave (everyone was MASSIVELY impressed considering how anxious I was when I first arrived 2.5 years ago) and not only that, I was VERY well behaved too. Needless to say I got lots of treats 💕 love, Bracken x

Fellow Apollo's Angels adopters - beware sending your fur babies to stay away! Bracken spent the weekend with her grandparents while we were at a wedding, and has come home with a new love for soft furnishings! She's NEVER shown interest in being on the bed before and now she won't get off... 😂

Taking the typical pointer leg cross to a whole new level! Top legs on the top and bottom legs on the bottom to make a heart shape 💕 I can see why everyone thinks Bracken is a puppy with those gangly legs and big paws! ☺️

So glad that now restrictions have eased a bit we could travel to meet Bracken's rescue cousins for a walk and a chill in the sunshine today. Despite my trying (!), Bracken is just not a sofa dog, so here she is sitting underneath Freda in the shade. She seemed a bit hot in the sun - maybe you can take the Cyprus out of the dog after all!!! 😂 Happy Easter everyone x

Nearly three months of life as a three with our little girl. She's getting more cheeky and more well-behaved every day (both at the same time, if that's even possible!) We love her beyond words. P.s. Excuse our kitchen, we're mid-renovation 😬

After really not being sure of Tom, Bracken seems to have gotten over her initial fears. The love he gets means that Tom's also gotten over his initial reservations about having her on the sofa! It's a win-win...🐒😌💘

One month in and we thought we'd see if Bracken wanted to come up on the sofa with us. It took picking her up and putting her on there just twice a few days apart (the first time she thought it was a punishment!) and this morning we came into the room to this... ❤️

Somebody enjoyed their first ten mins off-lead on the walk this morning!

After a few great recalls she started running a little too far ahead for our liking, so she went back on the longline, but we'll keep building on it ☺️

Bracken's training is coming on nicely 😊 She's learning to heel despite distractions - she can't do it on an open green yet, where her nose gets the better of her, but she's very good on pathways (just needs to master corners 🤣)

In case anyone is wondering, Tom is throwing down a "snuffle treat" - chicken hidden in paper which she has to use her snoot to find. She loves them!

Here's a few photos of Bracken on some different walks over the last week. She's gone very quickly from staying close by to pulling like a mad thing, which is OK with us if it means she's a happy girl! But still, we're looking forward to her harness arriving any day now... 😅
