I dont know about anyone else, but that winter was the most challenging one yet for me! 🫣 BUT!... the sun is now back out, the mud is drying up and the layers are getting less and less and now i remember why i love working with horses 🥰😂

Ive spent my weekend with 3 lovely horses/pony in Hartland looking after them whilst their Mum is away. All so well behaved and lovely to look after 🥰🐴

🌦️ The continued rainfall and warm conditions promote the ideal environment for grass growth 🌱

🐎 Laminitis can cause extreme pain, lameness and permanent damage to the hooves. Being aware of the more subtle signs of laminitis can help you act faster, resulting in more efficient diagnosis and treatment.

👀 Be extra vigilant with horses and ponies with metabolic conditions and those who are overweight, as this puts them at a greater risk of laminitis.

🔎 Just because a horse hasn’t had laminitis before doesn’t mean they can’t get it.

☆ Its a lunging aid that has been designed to strengthen your horse's topline

☆ It helps position your horse to work nicely in an outline by helping him build up muscles by working in the correct position

☆ The tensioner and its supporting lines put gentle pressure on the hindquarters encouraging the horse to step further under and therefore stretches and lifts the back muscles

☆ Pessoa work is a hard exercise for your horse so once or twice a week is plenty and for 15-20 minutes at a time is more than enough to see the benefits
