We know that more and more dog owners want to make sure they know where their dog’s food comes from and how it is made, and I am sure you will be no exception.

Here at Cavendish Dogs, we are proud to share with you how your dog’s food is made and where the ingredients come from.

We use human grade quality whole foods which are raw and fresh, sourced from farms and fisheries that are known and trusted. All transported in Cold Chain Transportation to ensure perfect freshness.

All our oils are freshly prepared, and all our ingredients have 100% provenance.

Low temperature cooking is essential to protect the proteins, enhance the flavours and keep in all the goodness. That is why the meat is gently cooked at 82’C and then the temperature drops to 60’C under vacuum to allow the water to evaporate without damaging the vitamins and nutrients. This ensures bio-availability for your dog and I get to mention the microbiome again – basically it is good for the gut, the centre of your dog's health.

And the important fact for diner time? It is delicious!

And did you know, giving our dogs a variety of food can have health benefits, as well as making dinner time more interesting!

A variety of food is especially crucial for puppies, like super cute Lila who had a firm favourite after her marathon taste testing day!

It is all about the gut and keeping the microbiome (the home of bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses) as healthy as possible. And one way to do that is to feed your dog a wide variety of food so that healthy bacteria from a range of sources can build the microbiome.
