Tink’s second time being long reined today, this time by my Mam, last time she couldn’t understand why I was behind her and not next to her😅but she was much better this time, she’s got such a lovely nature she just takes it all in her stride a long way to go with her but so pleased how she’s coming on, clever Tink 🤍

The 6am wake up call was all worth it today, lovely little afternoon at chopwell show, Trimar Tinkerbell’s last show as a 2 year old and she didn’t disappoint ditched the halter this time however as there was just no control in it and the bridle was straight on🤣 I cannot wait to see how much more she will have matured next season and continue her education❤️

Next I had to put my brave pants on after not showing in a ridden class for four years🫣, wasn’t off to a good start as had a lovely reminder I’m not the same size jods as I was when I was 18 🤣, was just hoping to get round and put together a nice show but Ace of Diamonds really pulled it out the bag leading us to WIN the class! I really wasn’t expecting it so I was absolutely over the moon as he’s really was on top form today, thank you Ruby for asking me to ride him ❤️

I want to say a massive well done to Ruby too, who had an amazing day with her ponies, she won her flat class with Ace of diamonds and got a 2nd with him in the 70cm, and then went on to WIN the 90cm with Eddie! I’m so proud of you you’ve absolutely smashed it today and it’s lovely to see all your hard work paying off, keep up the good work you should be chuffed with your self today 🤍

A little bit of jumping with Evie and Rosie this evening before it started to get dark 🫣 so so proud of how much these two have come on, go back not even a year ago and Evie didn’t have a lot of confidence and I was teaching her to ride on a older pony who showed her the ropes, fast forward to now she has her own pony Rosie who she has had to put in so much work and time in with and was totally thrown into the deep end with her as she had to go right back to basics with Rosie,but now we are finally starting to introduce fences with Rosie and she’s really starting to get the hang of it! Can’t wait to see where these two will be this time next year Evie puts so much time into this little horse it’s lovely to see it all her hard work and determination starting to pay off for her especially as Rosie isn’t the easiest of ponies at times 🙈😅❤️

Both of the babies long reined for the first time tonight 🥺, Grace has such a laid back character she just gets on and does it as if she’s done it all before, then was Tink who was a little bit unsure at first but we got there, these two are being home produced very carefully and both have so much potential, it’s lovely to see them coming on and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this pair 😍

Few photos and videos of Ruby and Jace’s jumping lesson from the weekend managed to do this early before it got too hot 🥵, the best Jace has jumped to date in my opinion lovely and consistent and seemed to just flow between the fences these two have a fantastic partnership which really shows in the school together 🤩
Due to the heat I’m not going to be teaching in the afternoons as it’s just far too hot at the minuet, remember to keep your ponies as cool and as comfortable as possible during this heat wave 🔥😎

Trimar Tinker bell, loving our home made apple and peach ice pop this evening a perfect way to give your pony a treat in the sun and help keep them cool☀️ remember to always remove the stone from the peach and only ever feed them in small quantities, always stick with the fresh fruit as processed fruit can give your pony a bad belly!

Can see my freezer being full of these during this heat wave for the ponies 😅🐴🌞

Got to give this stunning girl a pamper today first time having a bath AND first time with a bridle on at 2 years old she’s some size too!

Didn’t bat a eye lid at either, she’s going to be some horse when she’s older she’s got all the qualities you’d want from a horse, gorgeous Grace ❤️

Was super excited to be asked to exercise this cute little man Murphy today as he definitely is one of my favourite ponies on the yard, and what a day for it too as we’ve finally started to see some sun! What a little super star he is 🤩

Fab afternoon teaching Ruby and Jace today introducing skinnies and water trays and trying to get him to slow between fences, always lovely teaching them, Jace is such a honest boy always tries his best for her, they make such a great team together😍
