Lovely update from Alice's mum and dad - Hi Lena,
It’s been a couple of months since you teamed us up with Alice
who is now the beautiful love of our lives. We are so grateful to you ,Janice and all at Apollo Angels.
Alice was very nervous and shy when she arrived and remained so for about 3 weeks, but as time has passed she has shown us her true character. She is a gentle and loving girl who is also a cunning and determined tracker which makes her such fun to go on a walk, always on the alert and super quick to spot wild life. She has responded well to training and now has an excellent recall and “wait” which makes her such good company when out and about off lead.
She has been quite nervous around other dogs but that is improving noticeably just recently.
She has also revealed quite a developing sense of humour, and is a bit of a talker who has a range of sounds which she uses to express herself, which I have never heard of from another dog !
We know so well that she loves us and her new home; we must hope that she knows that we love her and the difference she has made to our lives.
Once again very many thanks for teaming us up with her, and please pass on our appreciation to everyone who has had a hand in making it possible. She is doing so well. Thank you.
