🔴 THE DOG! Scientific name: CANIS LUPIS FAMILIARIS
> The dog is the first species to ever be domesticated by humans, dating back to over 14,000 years ago by hunter gatherers, prior to the introduction of agriculture.
> Dogs are a subspecies of the Grey Wolf, they are also related to Foxes and Jackals.
> Dogs are the most popular pet on the planet with approximately 30% of households having dogs, totalling between 700 million to 1 billion dogs.
> they can learn up to and over 100 words and gestures. ( that’s awesome)
> Dogs noses are at LEAST 40x more sensitive than a humans.
> They can only sweat from their paws and cool down by panting.
Dogs or as most of you may know they as are man’s best friend. They are intelligent and highly stimulated animals that’s biggest purpose is for working. Every breed will have breed specific characteristics such as , Collies are a herding dog, Yorkshire Terriers are a pest control dog and German Shorthaired Pointers are hunting dogs.
Mental stimulation as well as physical activity is just as important for ALL DOG BREEDS. This can be achieved in many ways.
