£70 for 1.8kg of dog food 🫣🫣

A small calculation for my 4 dogs for a 30 day month 👇

Patch Dachshund 4.2kg = £163
Pip Springer - 9kg = £350
Honey Labrador - 13.8kg = £536
Nala Malinois - 24kg = £933

Total cost for my house would be .... £1982 😆

To me this seems crazy prices for dog food, I can't fault the ingredients but who has that much money to spend on dog food 🤔 🤑🤑

Part time dog walker position 🐕

Due to high demand for our Dog walking service, we are looking for a dog walker on a zero hour contract to work part time/cover holidays and sickness.

We offer our dog walking service within a 15 mile radius of Spalding, with this in mind the right candidate would need to be able commute to our clients homes.

The right candidate would have -
- Great time keeping skills
- A high level of Customer service
- A passion for dogs and caring for animals
- A willingness to progress within the role
- Be able to work as part of our team and communicate effectively.
-Pass a full DBS check
- Drivers licence

Please do not take your dogs out in the heat! Morning and evening walks are the best time to go for a walk as it’s cooler. Keep your dogs inside and cool, a dog has never died without a walk but many having died from the heat ☀️

JUST A REMINDER, TO ALL DOG OWNERS.

⚠️🚙⚠️ Despite the warnings, hundreds of dogs in the UK die every year after being left in a hot car. Someone you know may need to read this very important message. ⚠️🚙⚠️

SIX MINUTES is all it takes for a dog to overheat in a hot car.

Your dog could suffer serious injury or die in a matter of minutes if left alone in a car.

• The temperature inside a closed vehicle left in the sun can double within 12 minutes.

• At least 75% of the temperature increase in a closed vehicle occurs within 5 minutes of closing the vehicle, and at least 89% of the temperature increase occurs within 15 minutes of closing the vehicle.

• Temperatures exceeding 104˚ F can lead to death or serious injury for the occupants.

• Temperatures in a closed vehicle sitting in the hot sun can reach 160˚F and above. An animal will suffer immeasurably and may die before the temperature reaches 150˚F.

• Even when parked in the shade, the vehicle temperatures can exceed 104˚C.

• Leaving windows down more than 2 inches on an unattended vehicle will not prevent a car from reaching extreme temperatures.

• Even if the animal is revived, they can die due to severe internal organ damage.

Your dog trusts you to have their best interest at heart ALWAYS.
Please don’t risk their safety.

If you are not taking your dog inside your destination with you, PLEASE leave them at home where they are comfortable and safe.

Who said dog trainers dogs can't be naughty sometimes 😅 ?

Come home to find this little one table surfing 🏄‍♂️

Why did this happen?

Pip likes to sleep in high places, Patch had taken the highest spot already so she found her own place.

How did I fix this ?

Told her to get off and created a new high space for her to sit.

Result - No more jumping on the table as I had created a new safe space with height. Meeting her needs.

What did I not do ?

Shout, correct, send to her crate and then expect the behaviour to change.

Look for the reason why and you will solve the issue 🌟

It’s always good to take your dogs to unfamiliar places, even doing a little bit of training too🐾

This helps them socialising and gets the used to different places/people and dogs.

Nala was a little nervous jumping on the wood at first but we got there eventually 😅
