The biggies could stay out in this weather all day but we don’t want frozen dogs so we’ve thawed out by the fire and played with the mind puzzle games, a ball full of leaves and find the carrot .. always a favourite!

What a day in DAYCARE looks like 🐶 🐾 🏀 💕! From the moment our dogs walk into our home excitedly we have steps and procedures to adhere by. All are leads are kept together on hooks by the door for east access incase there was a fire, we then tag all our dogs incase there of any escapees ( thank god this has never happened!). We then fill out our register for Cheshire east council’s records and look over vaccinations making sure everyone is up to date. Once the boring stuff is out the way we check the dogs for any injury to make sure they are fit and well to go out and have fun. Enrichment part 1 ( a good 1 hr run around), plenty of treats to gain recall and well make them like me 🤪.. . Next step, plenty of cuddles and rest for lunch, enrichment part 2 ( indoor or outdoor sniff scenting and activities) followed by more cuddles! Towards the end of the day we prepare food for our boarders and then it’s time to settle down and dream of the active wonderful day they’ve had with their friends 🐾 DAYCARE IN A NUTSHELL 🐩

Whilst Mr Forepaws & co covers daycare we have been on our travels getting stocked up on treats and delicious chews for our weekend boarders and daycare group. We came across this amazing company especially great for fussy eaters but more importantly they are as close to natural and raw diet as possible. Everything we stand for! Stay & Play session for Ronnie 💕
Ronnie came to us with a very nervous disposition towards dogs, he was scared of his own shadow when he first started but has come on leap and bounds! Between myself and his trainer Pearlwynd Dog Training & Activity Centre we are working towards Ronnie being confident and enjoying the company of his fellow canine friends.
Stay & Play 1 hr sessions available by appointment 🙂, my main aim is to help as many dogs as I can feel safe, happy and enjoy their time with our lovely daycare bunch.

Why chose a LICENSED boarder? Because it’s the LAW. We work really hard at what we do and here is just a snippet of what we do on a daily basis, we don’t just sit around stroking dogs 😂, we have policies and rules to adhere to to keep your dogs SAFE. Since starting my business I’ve learnt so much that i previously didn’t know, so much about policies and numbers which has given me so much knowledge knowing I’m doing the best I can for our dogs. Did you know all licensed boarders will show you their license.. you can also find them on the Cheshire east animal establishment list. Each boarder is assigned a number of dogs they are allowed to have based on how many rooms they have in their home *We have to offer enrichment and exercise plans *We have to ensure all dogs are fully vaccinated * we are all insured, INSURED doesn’t mean licensed, if your dog was to get in a fight or injured or escape if you are not licensed your insurance is VOID *We have cleaning polices, we can’t use your standard bleach, everything has to be pet safe * we clean A LOT 😵💫😂* we have to separate dogs feeding areas * transport has to be adequate, fitted with seatbelts and only allowed a certain number travelling *we have to consent EVERYTHING * we have death and escape procedures * we have admin to fill out daily including daily observations for each dog ( urine, stools, behaviour, feeding) * meet and greets to carry out familiarisation forms to complete * booking forms to be completed * 1245644 messages daily to answer back to 😂 AND on top of that we are then inspected by Cheshire east council animal welfare to see if we’re doing everything correctly a number of times throughout the year.
