I am not a massive one to share my personal life on my business account but as I have been so quiet on here I thought I would address why. My amazing dad passed away this week after fighting Pancreatitis for a long and tough 7 months. He passed away peacefully with us all by his side, right until the very end.
I wanted to pay a tribute to my dad from The Canine Retreat because if it wasn’t for him, it quite simply wouldn’t exist. As a business man himself he done all he could to help and support me. If my van broke down, one phone call and dad would be there to save me. If I needed the keys to his Volkswagen Transporter to collect the dogs, there would be no questions asked. When I broke my hand last year, there was no hesitation that he would drive me round to collect the dogs just so I could keep on working and not let anyone down. The most important thing he ever done for me and my business was to allow me to use a part of his farm as a secure field. He wanted me and all the dogs to be safe and well looked after (even if it meant I complained that the fences were not high enough😂).
Thank you from the bottom of my heart dad. You have allowed me to grow a business to be proud of and I will continue to grow it to make you as proud as I possibly can. I really couldn’t of done it without you🤍
