Vaccinations are an important part of building up your pet’s immune system to keep them safe from serious infectious diseases. Vaccination appointments also always include a full clinical examination, so are a great opportunity to make sure your pet is in the best health possible.

Join our vaccine catch-up campaign and give your furry friend the care they need. Pay for the first overdue vaccine, and we’ll cover the second, ensuring their safety at an affordable price.

It’s a common misconception that hot cars are the main danger causing pets to overheat in summer. In reality, over-exertion during walks is the leading cause of heatstroke in dogs, making up an astonishing 74% of cases.

This risk is greater for dogs that are:
Brachycephalic (flat faced)
Overweight
Elderly
Have underlying heart or respiratory conditions..and also young, active dogs whose excitement and activity level can overcome
their ability to keep themselves cool ☀️🐕

As temperatures rise, take extra care with short-snouted pets.

Brachycephalic breeds like pugs, bulldogs and French bulldogs face a significantly increased risk of heatstroke compared to long-snouted dogs.

Because of their conformation, flat-faced breeds are less efficient at cooling themselves through panting, meaning they can overheat quickly even on mild days.

LUMPS

Most pets will develop a lump on or under the skin at some point in their life, and some pets may develop several.

It is impossible to know for certain what a lump is just by looking at it. Many different types of tumour can look and feel identical, especially those that sit under the skin.

Therefore, if the vet recommends that your pet's lump or bump needs sampling during a lump consultation, an in-house lab sample of the mass (fine needle aspirate) is FREE until 31st July 2025.

To book an appointment to have your pets lump checked, call us on 01229 829863/01229 583675 or visit our website to book online:
