📝Top tips for keeping your dog calm during fireworks:

1️⃣ Keep your dog indoors and don’t leave your dog alone. Your pooch could panic without you.

2️⃣ Feed your dog before it gets noisy and fill their water bowl. Dogs are likely to drink more when they are worried.

3️⃣ Switch on the TV or radio to help muffle the noise.

4️⃣ Keep your dog busy. Give them a puzzle toy, LickiMat, play games or practise some reward-based training. This will help keep them distracted.

5️⃣ Let your dog hide if they want to. Leave them alone and don’t disturb them. They will come out of their safe space when they are ready.

6️⃣ Comfort and soothe your dog if they seek reassurance from you. Never reprimand them for reacting to fireworks as this will only make them more fearful and stressed. 🎁🌿🐾
