We provide up-to-date scientific training methods using fun and games to make training a blast! My name is Sarah Higgins and I run Sit Happens Dog Training, based in Redruth, Cornwall. I have a degree in Animal Biology, am a Pro Dog Trainer with Absolute Dogs, scentwork instructor and judge with World Scent Dog Association (WSDA), and I'm constantly doing courses and seminars to broaden my knowled

ge and skills so I can be the best trainer I can possibly be for you and your dogs. Sit Happens Dog Training has been running since 2014, raising money for Last Chance Hotel Animal Rescue. At Sit Happens we specialise in rescue dogs, reactive dogs, and helping owners with specific struggles. We train using the most up-to-date scientific training methods using reward based fun and games training, and focus on building the dog-human relationship. We run our very popular Reactive Dogs Class every Tuesday afternoon at High View Farm Animal Sanctuary in Chacewater, with follow-on classes also now available for Reactive Dog Class Graduates and those who want a different, modern, fun kind of training class. Also available for behaviour consultations and 1-2-1 training sessions by arrangement.

Our popular Reactive Dogs Class is specifically designed for dogs that find it hard focus on their owner when they see dogs, people, or other triggers. We work to build your bond and get your dog listening, and help you to become your dog’s focus. All training is reward based and fun.
Classes run in 4 week blocks, so you can do just one block or multiple depending on your needs at a cost of £36 per block.
We are all volunteers so your training fee goes straight to LCH.

📣 NEW BEYOND THE BASICS CLASS!

Has your dog already got the basics but you want to teach them more but are just not sure what or how? Then our NEW Beyond the Basics class could be for you!

Class is at 3.45pm every Tuesday afternoon at LCH Sanctuary, High View Farm, Chacewater. £36 for a four week block of classes. Starting Tuesday 14th May.

We can help with:
- basic training
- tricks
- socialisation
- distracted dogs
- excitable dogs
- specific issues that you want to troubleshoot
- recall
- confidence
- having fun with your dog and building your relationship!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🍾

Here at Sit Happens Dog Training we don't make resolutions, but rather we vow to try and help as many dogs and their people as we can. So we are back in 2024 with our popular Reactive Dogs Class.

Training begins in 2024 on Tuesday January 9th. Our Reactive Dogs course runs for 4 weeks at a cost of £36 donation to Last Chance Hotel Animal Rescue and Rehome.
Class times are 6pm and 7.30pm.
