Somehow amongst the madness, TYD have managed to be awarded a 5 star licence rating 🥹

I couldn’t believe the time had come to renew my license, look how far we’ve come! I say WE because without you all I couldn’t be doing this in the first place! You’re all like my crazy little family, who have supported me through every ‘bump’ in the road 😅 as well as being there to cheer me on!

I also can’t miss out my girl, Chantelle. When I say she has been my absolute rock whilst running this business, it would be an understatement. She can read my mind, so kind, calm & can handle me like a pro. Some days she has literally pick me up off the floor…plus she takes the BEST pictures! I know this wasn’t the job you signed up for ‘cuddling sausage dogs’ but PLEASE don’t ever leave me! 😂🤍

Meet Loki 😍

Loki is the most handsome boy. His lovely mum from The Yorkshire Dachshunds - Dachshund Daycare & Boarding contacted me after Loki sadly experienced IVDD.

This degenerative condition is common in this breed where the health of their spinal discs can be compromised, compressing the spinal cord; leading to loss of the the use of their back legs 😢

With the help of Paragon Veterinary Referrals Loki has recently has surgery and is now on the road to recovery. 🥰

Sadly, I have had a huge influx of referrals from owners whose dogs have recently had this surgery.

Loki is just one of 10 new dogs this month who have been referred to me to help with their rehabilitation and recovery.

I’m sure Loki will absolutely smash his rehab!

My beautiful boy… this is one journey I hoped we’d never have to go on but the IVDD journey has begun 💔

Flying around on his walk yesterday and now his back legs don’t work at all. I can’t explain how awful it is to see your dog deteriorate so quickly and how it can come on with no real warning.

MRI tomorrow and then onto surgery… still can’t quite believe I’m saying that 💔
