Well the sunshine was unexpected but very welcome.
Lovely day judging at Phase Purple KC Licenced Shows. Thanks for inviting me to judge Faye Nemeth.
I hope everyone had a great time running in my ring. Thank you to those who complimented my courses. The confidence boost is very welcome.

My small but perfectly formed ring party worked their socks off for me, thank you so much ladies. Thank you Suzanne, Elizabeth and Katrina.
To those who pictched in with course changes and pole picking thank you.
Last finished but taking a break at lunch at the height of the heat was definitely the right move.

Last but not least thanks Steve for doing what ever I need whenever I need it, including pouring this lovely Gin. 😘

Puppy Groom for the princess 🍑
I can not recommend Reggie's Bath n Groom enough. Karen put our little princess at ease giving her time to take everything in that was happening to her.
Everyone knows how important cooperative care is to me when it comes to our dogs and Karen was awesome.

New Class Alert - Only 2 Spaces left after going out to the waiting list first.
Where? Indoor at Lothlorien Dog Services' lovely venue in Linlithgow.
When? March. Starting 10th March 9am - 10.30am. Runs for 4 weeks. (No class Easter Sunday, last class is on 7th April)
How Much? £200
How many spaces are there? Only 4 spaces available. This is to ensure maximum learning, first come first served.

What will we learn?
-Shaping games
-Bravery Games
-Waiting your Turn
-Working Through High Level Distractions
-Proprioception
-Targeting
-Reward Specific Markers
-Collar Grab and Transportation
-Plus more

Will it suit my dog? Dogs must be able to focus on their owner in this class, so a strong partnership foundation is a must. If you aren't there yet, the Focus and Self Control class run by Lothlorien Dog Services would be a great option for you. Partnerships who have been through puppy and juniors, this is a great next step for you.

What is this class not? This isn't agility, it is pre learning for agility or any other dog sport. You will not be negotiating obstacles in sequence or jumping jumps.

Puppy class

Registration for January classes now open!

Only 4 puppies per class which allows a maximum learning experience. Alongside experienced and accredited trainers.

Held in our training centre in Linlithgow, a safe & clean environment for learning.

You will learn
*Motivational based techniques to shape your puppy into a superb learner.
*Basic training centred to your puppies development stage.
*Skills that will lay a solid foundation for any further training.

You will also get access to our puppy portal. An online platform which goes with the class curriculum for an optimum experience. You have access to all the materials for 12 months.

The course is in person and is 6 weeks long.
We have various evening classes available.
The cost of the course is £150.

I couldn't be more proud of Karen and Rùm. Today they beat a tricky course to grab that final win to take them to grade 7.
Karen asked me if I would train her during lockdown. So Dog Ajillity was born. This was a partnership who has lots of skills but something was missing. Im so grateful to be part of their journey, bringing out the belief, resilience and connection they needed to become the confident team they are today. 🥰

What do we do when a student says a course at the weekend was too hard? We set it up and we identify the skill gap and formulate a plan to train it. We also look at weird and wondferful ways we could have handled the course to suit our dog. Sometimes there is no skill gap and we need to trust our dog. 🐾😁
Plus the spaniel gets to train little bits from the type of courses he is going to face.

Time to unleash a little bit of crazy in the spaniel.
I was once told you cant shape play, maybe when I have more head space I will dig a little deeper on that subject. For now I know I can use food to shape tugging the toy from my hand. That then can turn into a game we can play that will increase arousal🐾💡
Slowly slowly we will go leaving him wanting more.
