A lovely one hour training walk with Memo this morning concentrating on the down (and down stay). Shes so intelligent and coming along wonderfully!

Pleased with her progress is an understatement.

Make everything a positive experience for your puppy 😁

It is important that exposing your puppy to any type of external stimulus is always a positive experience for them, as the "rules of twelve" are designed to get your puppy used to the stimulus they will face in their day-to-day life so that they fo not fear it or display undesirable behaviours.

Life is never dull when there's dogs about. There's no better feeling than a long walk in the countryside with (wo)mans best friend. This little impromptu jaunt was to the Lake District to take the pups for a spot of fell walking and swimming in the many numerous and beautiful lakes found in this part of the world. Needless to say a wonderful time was had by all!

Our new arrival, Max. He came to us relilatively wild. Lots of hard work and dedication and we are now turning the corner. His heel work is perfect and we are now concentrating on the sit and sit/stay. For us, sit means sit and do not move until released, we don't see the point of the extra command 'stay'. We do however use a 'there' which means do not move in whatever position you are in, until released, i.e. standing. Anyhow, we have a lot of ground to cover until he gets 'there'
