Well it’s 6 months today that I arrived in Blighty, so how am I doing, I’m starting to walk on the lead much better now but still away to go. My whistle training is reasonable as is voice recalls when I’m in the mood and not looking for prey.
As in my previous post I have been off the lead down at the beach which was for dad a few heart in the mouth moments but I cane back. Not interested in treats for recall so more work needed.
Anyway looking forward to seeing how the British summers are.

Well it’s now been 13weeks in my forever home, how am I doing, we’ll walking on the lead is getting better (met a nice lady called Sue from the GSP West Sussex branch for some help) so walking better but still needs improvement.
Been training to the whistle and that’s going surprisingly well, but, not ready yet to be off the lead other than in a dog walking feild.
Like the beach very much but get over excited when I see other dogs playing.
Not keen at all re all these urban foxes, cats and squirrels they lite me up like a Christmas tree.
Forgot, went to vet yesterday as broke a nail, all good so had them all clipped, disappointed they wouldn’t paint them Christmas red ho ho.

It’s 3 weeks today I arrived, how time flys.

Been to the beach today and met some more dogs, it’s all still very new and exciting to me, I think I’m getting better on the lead bit by bit.

Also I’m very surprised that I’ve had 1200+ views on my video play time with Ruby, now for a kip.

Went to an enclosed dog field yesterday, that was all a bit new, once I’d calmed down a bit l started slowly to respond to being called back on my long lead. The good news also was I had no problem with being in the car. Back to the beach today, it’s only a short walk.

I’ve been out walking on the lead, new experience for me, so much to see and then the sea. Wondering if I’m a swimmer, who knows so watch this space. Got home after walks and totally shattered.

Markus now in his new home, arrived in UK Sunday night absolutely exhausted from all that travelling. Thank you Apollo Angels, all the Cyprus staff and dog couriers for doing such a wonderful job.
