As it's getting hotter quickly I would like to warn you all that if the temperature is too hot for your dogs then walks will be cancelled. I am willing to decrease the time of walks if it's at a tolerable temperature for each dog. Heatstroke in dogs can be life threatening and sometimes fatal. As we move into the summer I may ask if you would like to swap too early morning or late evening walks when the temperature is cooler. This is for the safety of your furry friends. I will give constant updates as the weather gets hotter and will reach out to you individually. I thank all of you for choosing me to walk your beloved pets.

I have attached a helpful chart to show the appropriate temperatures to walk dogs during these increasingly warm months.

🔴 New hours 🔴

Hello everyone, I am having to make adjustments to my open hours from next week. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I will be open from 8:30am till 4:30pm. I will also not be able to do pop in pet sits those days. This is because I am starting an evening job on those days. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Hi everyone, so as the weather is turning very cold from today till Tuesday I will be moving or cancelling walks if it is unsafe for the dogs to be walked. You are more than welcome to swap to a pop in visit ranging from 15 minutes to an hour.

This chart is what I use to determine the risk level for dogs in the cold weather.

As my business is growing I thought I'd make a post explaining what I do and a bit more about myself.

My business covers dog walking and pet sitting in customers houses in the golden valley. I have liability insurance, and have all my customers sign introduction and consent forms.

I live in the village of Kingstone and have a car to travel. I have 2 Labradors of my own and have always grown up around pets. I just completed a Level 3 Extended Diploma in animal management at Hartpury College where I got straight distinctions. My course covered husbandry, training, nutrition and boarding of over 70 different species.

I have always wanted to work with animals from a young age and I hope to work with you and your pets soon
