Hektor ain’t afraid of no ghosts 👻
Esko is available
He will be 2 in August, so still a nice young prospect.
He came to me reactive towards people and cars. I’ve worked through those issues and feel confident taking him anywhere now. I’ve had him out in crowded places like Cheshire oaks etc and he’s been absolutely fine.
He is ecollar conditioned, with a basic level of obedience. Sit, down and stand at the front or side. Recall to front or heel. Also a focused heel (“heel”) and non focused heel (“close”) for patrols or walking.
Has food and ball drive can be trained and worked for both. Also has an out off the ball (“out”) and a searching sequence (“find”) to hunt for the ball, can be done hot or cold and he has plenty of hunt drive.
Drive wise he has a lot. Plenty of defence and plenty of prey, with the scales tipping slightly towards being predominantly defensive. You can see earlier in the video that defensiveness materialising as some barking and growling on the bite, drive channeling has really helped this as he’s been developed. He’s generally good mechanically, has a full grip but can sometimes be a bit quick and short on the counter, again I think more drive channeling and further development of his drives will sort that out. He predominantly targets the forearm, more so because I’ve been aiming towards a security home and bicep, tricep isn’t necessary for NASDU certification. Can be sent to the forearm though.
He’s not a social dog, so he needs to bond with the people he’s going to be around or the handler. I wouldn’t be expecting him to be everyone’s best friend and giving kisses to strangers because he just isn’t that dog.
As far as I know he has been kennelled before I had him and he’s been kennelled with me. So I don’t have information on what he’s like as a house dog. I can tell you he shreds beds, so if you do take him, I’d recommend crating him when he’s indoors and alone.
I’ve potentially not sold him very well here, but
