We listen to our customers' feedback and understand that often people are unable to call us during our official office hours between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday. Therefore we decided to extend our hours we will take calls until 7pm - so if you just had an appointment at the vets and wanted to call us afterwards to discuss your little one's health, we will be here for you 💖

Our personalised keyrings are a popular choice with pet parents as they are with you all day, giving you a touching and long-lasting reminder of that special bond you shared with your loved one.

The paw and nose prints that we take at the time of the visit are scaled and engraved onto the stainless steel keyring.

🌈🐾💜KEEPSAKES AFTER A HOME EUTHANASIA?💜🐾🌈

We have always tried our utmost to fulfil our clients' wishes when it came to memorialisation of their beloved pet.

From the get go we offered free ink pawprints and hair lockets - we can take that from short haired pets too - as part of our service.

Since January we started offering a non-clay impressions (thanks to My Pet Paw Print) and now we will introduce nose prints to anyone who would like them.

My apologies to anyone who tried to contact us over the last 24 hours - due to outage in our broadband and phone services we weren't able to respond as quickly as we liked to.

I am hopeful that we will be back to normal now - fingers crossed - but anyone who contacts us please bear in mind - we are not an urgent call-out service and rarely can we offer a visit for the same day.

🌈🐾💜WHAT IS ANTICIPATORY GRIEF AND IS THIS NORMAL?💜🐾🌈

WHAT'S ANTICIPATORY GRIEF?
Anticipatory grief occurs when we grieve our pet before their death. We are anticipating their death and the grief we will face when that occurs. You may feel guilty, angry or have anxiety about losing your pet. You may also feel frustration or a lack of understanding on the current situation.

If you have noticed any of these emotional changes, talk to your vet and discuss your pet’s illnesses or disease processes. Let them know how you feel so they can help you grasp what is going on with your pet. This may include asking your vet for signs to look for regarding progression of your pet’s disease process.

IS ANTICIPATORY GRIEF NORMAL?
Yes, anticipatory grief is very normal. If you have some anxiety about your pet’s death, that is okay. However worrying too much about them or having intense anxiety can damage your relationship with them when it is most significant. We want you to be present with your pet and enjoy every minute you have left with them during their final days.

ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS
What do I want my pet’s last days with me to look like?
What do I want my pet’s last moments with me to look like?
How can I try not to have any regrets about the time I spent with my pet?
What does my perfect goodbye look like with my pet and how can I best achieve that?

LIFE WITHOUT THEM
Right now you are coming to terms with life without your pet. It is hard and it is emotional. Try to focus on the present. They are still here with you! Spend each day with them, love them and focus on your relationship with them. You want to make sure your pet is getting the best of your love right now. Surround them with complete unwavering love and happiness as they transition out of this life. When you look back at their life after they have passed, you want to remember these final moments and memories with joy and happiness.❤️🐾

🌈🐾💜HOW TO CREATE AND FULFILL A BUCKET LIST FOR YOUR PET COMPANION?💜🐾🌈

Creating a bucket list and fulfilling it before they go could help you spend the final days with your beloved more special, free of worry and just celebrating Their life.

First: Take some time to think about those things you want to remember in the final end-of-life walk with your pet. When you look back on this time six months from now, what will you wish you would've done in their life's final stage? In their last days? Think broadly, as well as remembering the little things that were special.

Next: What did you like to do together? Plan to do those as often as you can.

Then: Were there things your pet was never allowed to do, but you know they wanted to do them? For instance, eat people food?

Remember:: The small things. For our animals, those are the big things. The treats. The toys. The walks. Do those things that bring your pet joy, and joy to you for seeing them happy.

Finally: As you're taking time to make these final memories, don't forget to step back and embrace this time. The Bucket List is a great road map, but there will be starts, stops and times where you just need to "be" and not to "do".

🌈🐾💜ANOTHER WAY TO SEND YOUR LOVE WITH THEM BEYOND THE RAINBOW BRIDGE💜🐾🌈

If you are a pet parent considering the inevitable, parting from your companion, you may want to write them a letter. To tell them, how special they were for you, how much you you will miss them... and send it with them when they go.

Or you have children who are attached to them and they want a drawing or a message sent with them. Or a toy/blanket your pet treasured.

We will gently place any of these items with your pet when they go on their final journey so it is with them here, and beyond.

🌈🐾💜LOVE AFTER LOSS💜🐾🌈

I know it is very hard to even think of anything good, when you just suffered a loss of a beloved companion.

Sue lost her best friend, and companion a year ago, called Ben. But when she saw an advert from a rehoming centre, she knew she had to apply for that little sweetheart, as she needed a loving home.

Sue is and will be forever remembering Ben, but now thinking about planning trips with her new little buddy, Sophie.

I am sure I speak for all of us, that we wish them the very best for the future xx
