Dressage 'Test & Trian' With Sandra Joyes - Tuesday 31st May

Choose your choice of test, levels are walk/trot, prelim, novice & elementary. You will ride your test, receive feedback on your scoresheet, work on areas that need improvement and then ride the test again.
Sandra is currently training at advanced level with Kim Radcliffe, a list 1 BD Judge, is competing at advanced medium & is aiming to be riding at Small Tour this year. She judges & instructs regularly, working on supporting riders to build their riding skills and confidence.

Happy to work with all levels and experience focusing on the correct way of going, rider position and effectiveness, the scales of training, and understanding the judges point of view.

Now that the lock down measures for me to work are now lifted I am able to restart offering equine sports massage in West Norfolk and the surrounding area, of course ensuring social distancing measures are in place.
The benefits of Equine Sports Massage are to Increase and improve circulation, enhance muscle tone, relax muscle spasm, prevent and relieve adhesions and increase the range of movement.
Three types of massage I offer:
• Routine or rehabilitation
• Pre work/ event – loosens, warms and get the muscles ready for work
• Post work/event – relieves muscle pain and stiffness by returning the muscles to a normal state
For all new clients, introductory offer of £40.00 for the first session which includes an initial assessment and full massage. The usual price £45.00 per session (T&Cs apply, including veterinary consent prior to treatment)
For my existing clients you should have all received a message regarding rescheduling any cancelled appointments.

Windy end to a busy week! Some lovely horses to massage; started off the weeks visiting Ella Garfoot's Alfie and Rebecca Everitt's Frankie. Finished the week visiting ZK Dressage and working on Zoe's lovely Ramsey and Sarah's beautiful Isla. Currently have limited slots available on Sunday 15th February for anyone that is looking for their horse to have a pre Regional massage.

Welcome

Hi, I’m Sandra, certified Equine Sports and Rehabilitation Massage Therapist based in Downham Market.

Most people know me from either as a dressage rider, trainer or judge and of course have normally met Fudge! I am now able to offer an ESMT service in the local area.

My passion has always been horses and I have been very privileged to ride and own horses all my life. From riding my first pony, Chester, in gymkhanas and mounted games, through to eventing of two fabulous horses ‘Wootton Balaton’ and ‘The Bear’. For the last 10 years I have been focusing on Dressage and have a very successful partnership with Ferguson II, ‘Fudgie’ to his friends! Competing at BD National Winter Championships and representing the Eastern Region at the Senior Home International to name a couple of special moments.

My goal in life has always been to enjoy what life brings to me and horses have been very instrumental to this. Now as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist I feel I am able to give something back and fits well with my experience and passion, horses.
