Although welfare charities have tried to clamp down on selling rabbits over Easter, there is still likely to be a surge in new bunny owners.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Don't forget how overwhelming bunny parenthood is to start with, it is a steep learning curve. The best thing we can do for these new bunny owners is to make them feel welcome in our community and support and guide them as much as possible.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Pet shops have always been such a special part of our high street. As children, who didn't love going in to see the animals? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Although I struggle with some of the products that are still available in high street stores which don't meet the RWAF guidelines, I know that those working in and running the pet shops we are collaborating with genuinely love animals and want what is best for them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Happy first day of Spring!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Spring has always been my favourite time of the year. When I was little I would always watch The Secret Garden around this time. I loved watching the spring sequence with the bulbs breaking through. There was something so magical about Mary and Dickon's special relationship with animals and the garden which I related to. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Despite lockdown easing later this year, we are likely to be wearing masks for some time to come! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
