I still can’t quite believe it myself, but today I groomed this special little girl .et.lulu , Lulu’s mum Charlotte lives in France and has come back to the UK for Christmas and brought Lulu along with her to have groomed specifically by ME?! To say I’m touched is an understatement and to think that someone thinks that much of my work to go to such an extent is quite unfathomable to me and quite honestly has me lost for words 🙈❤️Thank you so much Charlotte and Lulu! I can’t wait to see the both of you again next year! 🎄🎅🏼

I’m so pleased with Teddy’s 12 week transformation!
His first appointment with me was 6 weeks ago, he looked very cute, but I knew it would look 10x better at his following appointment, as he would have grown more coat in places that were missing! The difference from his first appointment to the second, there is no comparison! ✨
What I’m trying to get across, is please don’t judge your new groomers skills purely on your first appointment…

✨ Give your dog & your new groomer time to adjust to one another, as it takes time for both groomer & pet to work each other out and get comfortable 😌

✨ All groomers have different styles and techniques, and it takes time to transition a style from one to the next.. you can’t create a specific style if the hair isn’t there! 😝🙌🏼…

What is Asian Fusion Styling?
Asian Fusion, which is often referred to as 'Asian Freestyle' or 'Japanese Grooming', is a unique grooming technique that originated and developed in Japan, China and Korea. The original idea was to make dogs, no matter their breed or age, look younger like a puppy or to amplify their ‘cuteness’. The style on the body is usually short which allows for pet clothing or harnesses to sit well against the skin, whist keeping the legs big and fluffy!

But what if I don’t want an Asian Fusion Groom!?
No problem! Harriet is also skilled in Breed Standard grooming styles, and can tailor your groom in which ever style you’d prefer... be that short all over, a Breed Standard Schnauzer, super fluffy or something that’s totally unique for you and your dog!
Whatever your preference, Harriet can tailor your groom just the way you like it.
Harriet is now an Award Winning groomer, and regularly competes in grooming competitions across the country. She has since moved to Greater Manchester and now grooms under her own business name POOCH! POOCH is located within ‘Clarkes Dogs’ which is located on 108 Sale Road, Wythenshawe. ✨

Harriets Story:
Harriet was looking for a second career adventure that she loved equally as much as her acting career.. So she put her thinking cap on and made a list of all the things she loves and her needs to determine which direction to take… Her love of animals, and the need for an artistic and creative outlet sparked her eureka moment! She was going to train to become a professional Dog Groomer!
Harriet researched dog grooming training schools all across the UK to train with only the best, which meant travelling from Central London to Plymouth to train at the prestigious AbbFabb Academy which was founded, run and owned by Eve Somers ICMG, BDGA. Eve is an award winning groomer and examiner for all the different levels of grooming courses and a competition judge, and this is where Harriet gained her Level 2 and Level 3, City & Guilds Professional Dog Grooming Certificates under Eve’s expert training and knowledge.

Since then, Harriet has gained a tremendous amount of knowledge working all across the UK as a professional dog groomer. In most recent years she has found herself working in some of Central London’s most exclusive and sought after Grooming Salons, where she has honed and refined her grooming skills… and it was during this time that she developed her love of Asian Fusion styling...
