Started on the microwave, ended up here.

People ask how they get this chill, but it’s pretty simple: attitude greets attitude. If you’re a mess, they’re a mess. If you respect their space, they’ll eventually invite you into theirs.

From "Oops, wrong way" to the chin preen. I’d say we’re definitely cooked.

The sign says "Oops Wrong Way," and he agrees. Being close to the ceiling in a chewed-out box is his version of the high ground.

When the hand enters, the beak follows. It isn't a bite; it’s a conversation. He’s letting me know he’d rather stay, but he respects the system.

We don’t force the exit; we navigate the dialogue.

The cues are casual, but the intent is surgical. The red tail is the dividend, not a gift. Every interaction is a deposit or a withdrawal.

Morning shift: The start of the day. The ChaosTwins chose to wake quietly. Friction was low. Routine reduces friction.

Evening shift: Failed recall. Timing error on my part—pushed before she was settled. I could have forced the result, but I'd have only bought future problems. Compromise scales better than force.

You don't turn tricks in a lived-in house. You manage the trust account. You make enough daily deposits so that when a real withdrawal is needed—a wing check or a medical exam—the system doesn't break.

They've had a couple of hard days recently. The have a lot of freedom generally the odd work day means a day in the cage. Crating is a fantastic behavior to train 😉
