Good morning!
Happy Birthday Azi, 18 years old today.
I know I probably bang on about Azi but she really is the absolute love of my life. Her proper name is Azucena, which means 'Lily' in Spanish.
I bought her from a photo from a dealer, and imported her, unseen, from Spain. What could possibly go wrong???
I won't bore you all too much but I've had her since she was 4 and we've been through so much together. I've always been massively over horsed and Hubby jokes he's got A&E and the knacker man on speed dial but my goodness, I bloody worship her.
Show me your heart horse?

Good morning!
This is such a popular colour, Dark Rainbow. I nearly didn't order any when I saw the colours from my supplier but Hubby thought it was gorgeous, and persuaded me it'd be popular. He was right!
This is a set of reins, with 9 strands, so nice and substantial.
This cord is twice the price of everything else for me to buy in, as it’s very sought after. I actually absorb that cost myself to try and keep it affordable for people. Just please keep ordering it, as I’ve got 600 mtrs on order!!!
These reins use 100ft of cord, hence the price of £27, plus postage @ £3.50.

Good morning, look at these scrumptious boys!
Thank you so much to owner Sarah-Ann for sending me this photo.
of Bobby & Jimmy, her pair of driving Shetlands looking smart in their new head collars.
I asked Sarah-Ann to tell me about them:
"Due to health I was told last year I couldn't ride anymore so had to get rid of the eventers.....the companion pony was Jimmy so I decided to learn to drive, but it's rather hilly where we are so one sh*tland power became two!! I've broken both to drive myself and this was our first showing class last weekend. Hoping to move onto quicker and more adrenaline rush things next year🤣🤣"

Good morning, NEW PRODUCT ALERT!
I was asked to make a keyring type product that could show people's ICE details.
So here it is, a bigger, longer legged 'Little Man'!
These would work on a saddle, belt, stable door, bag etc and I can do anything you like. I'm no prude, so feel free to order what you'd like 🤣.
As well as being a good idea, I thought they'd make great low cost presents for that dreaded event that's looming ever closer!
I can do numbers, hearts, beads etc, up to you.
***The introductory price is £5, plus £2, 2nd class post. It will be £6 from September 1st, so get your orders in now!***
I can combine postage for multiple orders.
Here's a link to buy via my 'work in progress' website. The price should be £5, plus £2 postage, probably £7 and free postage, so message me if it's any more and I'll sort it!
The official photo from the ride this weekend. Couldn't resist some Azi p**n!

Happy Wednesday!
These new bit couplers are really popular.
Thank you to Emma for sending me this lovely photo of her endurance horse with a Royal Blue one. She said it was really useful for the run up for the vet check at an event.
These are £15, including postage 😊

Good morning, happy Tuesday 😊.
So how was your long weekend? Did you get to play ponies?
The weather was so weird up here. Saturday we got drenched hacking locally, then yesterday we did a fun ride in gorgeous sunshine ☀️
Azi continues to be sound, touch a load of wood and add a bit of bute, and we even managed a couple of gallops 😱.
How was yours?

Good morning!
I know it’s Monday but it’s a bank holiday, so I’m delaying the what did you do this weekend until tomorrow!
Instead, how gorgeous are these photos?
This is the beautiful Zara, a stunning PRE mare wearing a headcollar that I made.
It’s a black headcollar with black and gold braiding in the Solomon pattern.
Big thank you to owner Sally for sending me these 🇪🇸😍
25/08/2024
Good morning!
Here’s the lovely Billy sporting his new bit coupler.
Billy’s been on box rest recently but is allowed out for walks in hand, so Emily asked me to make this for him.
Isn’t he lovely?
It’s the Sanctified Weave, in Black and Hunter.
These are £15, including postage 😊

Good morning!
Girly Pink, a special commission of custom shades for these reins.
What's not to like? 🩷🤍🩷
23/08/2024
Good morning!
I haven't posted many rope halters recently, so here's a lovely Purple one in the Solomon pattern.
The main braid is purple, with black 'dots' and obviously a "Little Man".
I also made a matching Hoof Pick.
Rope Halters are £20 with just the Noseband braided, or £25 with the cheeks as well.
Postage is £3.50, Royal Mail Tracked 48
Hoof Picks are £15, including postage.

Good morning! How fabulous are these?
I was asked to make some dog collars and leads for a lovely customer who has 5 dogs of differing colours but loved the Dark Rainbow.
I suggested doing all them in different patterns, so we have the Trilobite, 2 Solomons, and a Jagged Edge. I know that's not 5 but I did a Pink one too!!
I also made 2 Training Leads, with rings and double ended trigger hooks.
LOVE THESE!

Good morning! Yesterday was our 29th Wedding Anniversary - I know! I cooked a rare meal for us as I'm a terrible cook. Whilst making dazzling conversation, I mentioned that I was sorely tempted to man up and take Azi on a Hound Exercise this weekend. I also said I wasn't convinced I'd still fit into my Ratcatcher outfit.
Hubby romantically said he thought I'd probably still get into the tie!
Cheeky bu**er 😂
19/08/2024
Good morning, it’s Monday already!
So what did you do with your ponies? Azi and I did a pole clinic, first time in ages. She was so happy to be out playing! I treated her to a new neck rope and matching browband too 🇪🇸😊
Show me your photos 😊

Good morning, another request for feedback please!
Moving on from which colour headcollar to stock - definitely taking a plunge on Yellow, Pink and Red, as well as stocking up, I'm also about to stock up on paracord.
I have some staples that I always need but if any others jump off the page, please let me know. I can't go mad as the shipping costs are prohibitive but open to suggestions.
The ones circled in red are shiny, which is always popular and looks so pretty.
Let me know? I’m out with Azi early so won’t be able to reply but I’m going to sit down later and work out my order!
17/08/2024
Good morning!
A big thank you to Alexia for allowing me to use this gorgeous photo. It was a present and they both seem pretty happy with it!
16/08/2024
Good morning! Thank you so much for all your feedback re colours yesterday, it was really helpful. I'll speak to my supplier and report what I do!
Meanwhile, here's one of my new adjustable neck ropes with a buckle.
Big thanks to owner Cat, for sending me this photo of her lovely horse.
It's always so lovely to hear from my customers and have lovely feedback, especially when it's good!
She wrote:
"I thought you'd like a photo of Nova modelling her new neck rope. It's perfect!"
These are available in up to 6 colours, although 3 is probably best.
These are the ones he suggested, as well as the usual colours. Thoughts?
15/08/2024
Good morning, Could I ask for a bit of consumer input please?
I need to order some more stock now, to make sure I'm okay for that time around December that noone wants to even consider atm 😱.
What colours do people like, or is there one I haven't got yet?
Royal Blue, Purple, Burgundy and Black are always popular but I'd be interested to get any feedback to help me order wisely!
14/08/2024
Good morning!
Following on from the Arab theme yesterday, I really wanted to show these photos, which are a bit different and just lovely.
Thank you so much to owner Claire, of Rainbow Arabians, for allowing me to use these photos of the beautiful Carlotta, at her first spook busting clinic. Carlotta has just started to be backed, so she did really well, and obviously looks fab in the Burgundy and Gold Headcollar!
13/08/2024
Good morning!
I don't usually do 'normal' advertising but how lovely is this?
I've been lucky enough to make a few items for some stunning Arabians, and thought I'd take an advert in their new online Crabbet Heritage magazine.
I am hopeless, as you know, with design and technology but Natalie and Tanya designed this for me and I was knocked out!
Please have a look through this stunning edition, there are some lovely articles and some even lovelier horses to ogle.
I think I might have posted twice by mistake today but not sure.
So sorry if I've missed replying to anyone!

Good morning, happy Monday!
How was your weekend? Did you manage your play ponies?
I’m crossing everything that it continues but my darling girl appears to be staying sound after all these months of heartache.
We managed 2 lovely hacks and a trip to the beach 🏖️. SO happy 😁.
What did you do?

Good morning, happy Monday!
So what did you do with your ponies this weekend?
Touching wood, Azi is still sound, so we met my lovely friend Mandy and went to the beach. Lots of splashing around and just having fun 🤩

Good morning!
I’ve been busy making some new adjustable neck ropes with a buckle this week and made this. I just love these colours. It’s a beige and silver camo which I think would look stunning on a chestnut, palomino, bay or black horse.
These are £25, including postage. I’m working on a website with links atm but in the meantime message me if you’re interested in one!

Our dishwasher has been broken for the last week. How’s a girl supposed to wash her bit and stirrups ffs!!!
10/08/2024
Good morning!
Royal Blue and Silver is one of my most popular colour combinations but this is the first time that I've done them in the Trilobite pattern.
The Trilobite uses 2 colours in equal proportions and is really striking!
Big thanks to owner Sara, for sending me this photo of her lovely 12yr old Cob, Oscar, wearing his new headcollar. LOVE it!
Good Morning, isn't this colour combination beautiful?
I've used these colours in the past but never in this pattern. It's Turquoise and Purple, on a Purple Head Collar.
The pattern is the Trilobite, where unlike some of my other patterns, both colours are used in even amounts.
The Trilobite is also a flat pattern and slightly wider than some of my other designs, so good for larger dogs and horses!
Massive thank you to owner Tricia for sending me these photos of her gorgeous 3yr old, Ruby. She's beautiful and the colours really suit her.
As if it doesn't look gorgeous enough on it's own, I also made a matching Neck Rope with tassels.
I can do this in cob, Full and XFull, I might have a couple of smaller sizes, but without the Fleece headpiece.
Headcollars are £28
This Neck Rope is £25 with 9 strands (wider) or £23 with 6

Good morning, it's not all about bright colours, how about this one?
Thank you to Hannah for sending me these photos of her gorgeous girl, Boo modelling her new Head Collar.
This is a Green headcollar, with Sage, Brown and Gold braiding in the Solomon pattern.
The keener of you might have spotted there is a matching Grab strap too. Grabs are £15, with FREE postage 😀.
I absolutely love this colour combination. I have Small Pony to XFull in Green, with Fleece Headpieces.

It’s of Little Men, made for Gooody Bags for the EGB Endurance event at Well Vale this weekend 😍

Good morning, Happy Monday!
How was your weekend, what did you get up to with your ponies?
Azi and I went out to play and she stayed sound again, so I'm SO happy!
We had a slightly dodgy moment when we tried to go over a narrow bridge over a river and a swan appeared at the wring moment and hissed at her, scaring the whatsits out of her and we needed a lovely lady to get off her pony and lead us over with a packet of polos in front of her nose!
Little video of her walking with a regular foot fall, such a great thing these days.
I had a little cry when I got home, as I was so happy!
Show me some photos of your ponies?
Happy Monday everyone, how was your weekend?
Azi and I did a fun ride with my friend Thay. Lovely ride and we did this river crossing twice. Such fun.
What did you do with your ponies?
Happy Monday everyone 😊.
No product plugs today, just a chance to post some lovely photos of what you did with your ponies this weekend.
Mine was quiet but managed a solo hack around the village with Azi, which made me ridiculously happy and I did the pathetic hugging and telling her how much I loved her thing!
How was yours?
Good morning!
Does anyone else have a horse that was highly likely to have been a hippopotamus in a previous life?
Here’s Azi playing happily with her water yesterday afternoon 💦
This is what happens when you give your 5yr old granddaughter a bag of off cuts and tell her to amuse herself to buy a bit of time 😱
Good morning, happy Monday 😊.
Can’t believe how quickly last week went. We’re back at ‘what did you do with your horses’ day!
I’m still not able to ride until my wrist agrees to bend enough for me to push down on the saddle to get on but I managed to walk Walter for the first time in 6 weeks. He’s too strong to have risked it before but hubby let me take him for a mooch down a local lane and it was so to be out with him again. I badly need to lose some weight after doing bugger all for 6 weeks 😂
What did you do?
Good morning!
Something a little different today. I was asked if I could make a headcollar with just the cheeks braided, then a matching lead rope.
I think this looks really nice. It’s the Trilobite pattern, with Shiny Rose Pink and Purple, on a Purple headcollar.
What do you think? 💜

Matchy Browbands
Hi everyone. Welcome to my new page.
I started making browbands for my own horse after buying them for several years. It nearly killed me getting my brain around how to do the different styles but several hours of practice later, I got the hang of it and started using them for Azi, my horse.
The trouble is, pretty browbands are addictive and I soon realised I had too many even for me, so I thought I’d try and sell some.
I’ve not been going very long but have had a really good start, thanks to my lovely customers.
I have tried to keep my standards high. I use quality 550 military grade parachute cord, which is incredibly strong and the weave on each browband is pulled tightly to ensure a quality finish.
I am happy to provide a short online advice consultation, where I can send photos of possible colour combinations and explain the different patterns I offer. Currently, I offer 4 different patterns, or weaves, and they can be done in up to 3 colours, so the possibilities are endless!
All you need to do is message me with an idea of the colours you like and let me help you design something unique.
I use Synthetic Biothane ends as opposed to leather. I have tried both but have found that although leather is lovely, it really doesn’t wash well. With my ends, you can put the whole browband in a washing machine on a gentle wash and they come out beautifully each time. My leather ends have been ruined by doing this and one of the advantages of Paracord is that you can wash it and it comes up beautifully. If you would still prefer leather, I can order it specially at the extra charge of £4 per browband.
