A perfect day to enjoy the autumn sun and sniff the air, the simple things are often the best of things 🥰
Apollo has been home just over a week and he is doing incredibly well, we couldn’t be happier for him 🥹
Last year the decision was made to focus on helping Animals Help increase their reach in Spain, rather than continue to adopt dogs to the UK. At the time Hally was still in foster so we continued to look for a home for her, then an existing adopter approached us about adopting another dog (Apollo).
Now Apollo how found his perfect home we will continue to support our existing adopters, and, although we will not be publishing dogs in Spain, we will continue to support the shelter where we can, whether than be fundraising or helping raise their profile in their local area.
The reward of seeing a former stray dog in a great home, it’s joyous, it fills your heart, it’s amazing. The mental toll that you take while walking this path, it’s tough, and it’s become so difficult that this change has had to take place.
We are incredibly grateful for every adopter, every supporter, without you so many dogs would still be in the shelter. These dogs now have warm winters and cuddles on tap, their lives enriched by the people around them, thank you to everyone who helped them get to where they are now.
And of course a big thank you to all the work that Sonia and Carmen of Animals Help do, saving these dogs from abuse, homelessness and illness, without you many dogs would have suffered and many families would not be complete.
