Does your dog sit on the front seat of your car when going out and about?
Don't forget to make sure that they are wearing a suitable harness correctly attached to the seatbelt anchor. Also put the seat as far back as possible and turn the passenger airbag off.

Have you been thinking of sending your dog away to be trained as it may be too much for you?
Although this may seem convenient the bond when training needs to between you and your dog. Residential training won't give the required bond between owners and their dog.

Are you not able to get out at a time of day when it's cooler?
There are fun ways to occupy your dogs brain in the heat. Working your dogs nose with simple sniffing/search games in the cool of the house will do this.

It would seem as though summer has decided to stay a little longer and the heat will be causing problems for you pooch.
Unless you can get out early in the morning or late in the day it'll be better if you let them chill out at home in the shade. Missing a few days of walking won't kill them but being out in the heat of the sun could.

It's that time of year where grass seeds are in abundance.
A visit to the vets to remove one can cost hundreds of pounds.
A quick check of your dogs paws and ears after a walk costs nothing and also helps you bond even more

Always remember to take water out with you on a dog walk, no matter what the weather!
Your pooch may be doing 3 or 4 times the distance you are walking and water should be available for them.
